What happened in Episode 8 of Phantom Lawyer?

In Episode 8 of Phantom Lawyer, Yi-rang helps So-hyun recall her memories and learn that she is Na-hyeon’s older sister. She discovers that her family has grown apart while grieving her loss, and also decides to help Yi-rang find the reason why those bullies were bullying the high school.

After following him the next day, she possesses Yi-rang again to confront the bullied kid, who was going to commit a crime to get rid of the bullies. She tells him that killing them won’t solve his problems but would only increase his troubles, and also gives him an example of a bullied boy from her own school. Na-hyeon listens to everything, and later, all of them decide to get hold of the bullies’ phones, where they had recorded the video of the bullied kid, with which they were blackmailing him.

Meanwhile, Do-kyung approaches the bullies in the hospital and asks them to tell him the truth. He then instructs them to delete the video from their phones, as it will help them win the case. He also sets the settlement amount to 150 million Won, which would bring more problems for Yi-rang’s family, and also calls his mother to visit Taebaek to sing the agreement.

Later, in the Phantom Lawyer‘s episode, Yi-rang and the gang’s plan fails, and the bullies run away from them. However, it is the bullied kid who gets hold of his bully, who had the video on his phone, and takes it from him to give it to Yi-rang. This helps the bullies get arrested, and the case against Yi-rang is dropped.

Furthermore, Na-hyeon learns that Su-hyon, her sister, is possessing Yi-rang currently.

In the upcoming Episode, with the help of Yi-rang, So-hyun will get to spend some time with Na-hyeon until the former decides to pass on after making sure her family is doing okay.
