The comedian, 61, has been seen twice in public with creative producer and DJ Simone Henault, first in Santa Monica and then sharing a kiss in a Manhattan park.
Chris Rock appears to have a new romance. The comedian was photographed in late March holding hands and sharing a kiss with Simone Henault, a DJ and creative producer, during a relaxed outing in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. The two were seen sitting on a park bench, both wearing newsboy caps, in what marked their second known public appearance together.
The pair were first spotted the previous month leaving Giorgio Baldi, an upscale Italian restaurant in Santa Monica frequented by celebrities, before getting into a car together. Neither Rock nor Henault has publicly confirmed the relationship.
Who is Simone Henault
Henault, a DJ, creative producer, and content strategist, brings a versatile creative background to her work. She graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, in 2013 with a degree in public relations, advertising, and applied communication.
Her career has spanned brand strategy, production, and music. She held senior creative producer roles at brand agency 19th & Park Inc., The Fader, and Cornerstone Agency before joining Google in 2021, where she spent four years working with the Waze team. She left Google in early 2026 and announced she was shifting focus toward connecting brands, artists, and global communities through culture, experience, and creative vision.
On the music side, Henault has performed at exclusive venues including Shoreditch House in London and Soho House, and has DJ’d at various events across Los Angeles. She also curates a playlist series called Monafide Soul Series on Spotify.
Beyond her professional work, Henault has described herself as an avid writer since the age of 12, maintaining journals and sharing longer pieces through a Substack. She has covered topics ranging from her experience at the Burning Man festival to year-end reflections. She is also a frequent traveler, regularly documenting international trips on her Instagram.
Henault has roots in New Orleans and New York and was based in Austin at the time of a 2021 profile interview.
Rock’s life since his divorce
Rock, 61, was married to Malaak Compton-Rock from 1996 until their divorce was finalized in 2016. The former couple share two daughters, Lola Simone, 23, and Zahra Savannah, 21.
In the years since his divorce, Rock has been linked to several women publicly. He briefly dated actress Megalyn Echikunwoke in 2017 and was later seen with actress Lake Bell in 2022, with the two photographed together at a Golden Globes after-party before the relationship ended. Most recently, he was linked to Brazilian actress and entrepreneur Karmel Bortoleti, with the pair spotted together in New York City in September 2025.
Rock’s personal life has drawn public attention since the 2022 Academy Awards, when actor Will Smith walked onto the stage and struck him after Rock made a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. The moment led to a 10-year ban for Smith from the Oscars and generated significant public debate. In June 2025, Smith addressed the incident publicly in an interview with Radio 1Xtra, speaking about his efforts to move past the moment personally and professionally.
