A distinct attribute of High Potential Season 2 is the manner in which the characters take on the cases while also navigating through the struggles of their personal lives. It is rare to see TV shows being able to bring forth storylines that can capture the intensity of a crime drama while also depicting the emotional turmoil of the characters; however, High Potential Season 2 is able to do it seamlessly.

In this season of the series, Morgan has been facing one challenge after another, both in her personal and professional life. Her past resurfaces with Roman’s case, which creates an intense situation for her while she also struggles with the dynamic she has with Karadec and Wagner.

In episode 17 of the series, Wagner’s actions completely transform the dynamic that Morgan had with him. It can be expected that the next episode of the series, that is, episode 18, which is set to drop on April 7 at 9 PM ET, will shed further light on their relationship.

This can especially be seen after he tries to stop Morgan from taking the job that his father offered her, knowing that Morgan’s abilities will be misused. In this episode of High Potential Season 2, after not being able to catch the robbers, Wagner began to blame himself.

However, Morgan helped him understand the situation, bringing the two closer. At the end of episode 17 of this season, after finally being able to catch the robbers, Morgan and Wagner share a kiss. Episode 17 of High Potential Season 2 also creates further tension regarding Willa Quinn’s situation. Soto informs Karadec that the FBI was prepared to give them an interview with Eric Hayworth. However, Eric Hayworth is dead. Eric was a crucial part of Roman’s case, as he was the only person who could have given them information on Willa Quinn.

She also shows Karadec the pictures she received, where Willa Quinn could be seen with Wagner’s father. Soto now wants to make sure that Wagner got involved in the case for the right reasons. She is suspicious that Wagner might have gotten involved in the case because of his father.

In the previous episodes, Wagner got himself involved in Roman’s case, which raised Morgan’s suspicions. However, he was able to show that he was trustworthy. This new turn of events puts Wagner’s trustworthiness to the test once again. It sets the stage with a level of uncertainty for the upcoming episode of the series.
