CBS, NBC and Netflix just canceled your favorite shows

CBS showed little patience with its comedy lineup, canceling DMV after just one season. The workplace comedy premiered in fall 2025 and centered on employees at an East Hollywood Department of Motor Vehicles office. The show featured Harriet Dyer as Colette, a driving examiner with boundary issues, Tim Meadows as Gregg, a former English teacher turned DMV worker, and Tony Cavalero as Vic, an ex-bouncer who enjoyed dealing with difficult customers. Despite a relatable premise about navigating the quirks of DMV life, the show couldn’t attract enough viewers. The finale is scheduled for May 2026.
