Jorginho Frello didn’t hold back when he criticized Chappell Roan after a run-in between her security team and his 11-year-old daughter at a São Paulo hotel restaurant.
On Saturday, Mar. 21, the Brazilian soccer star posted a Story on Instagram, venting about the singer’s security guards accusing his daughter — a huge fan — of disrespecting and harassing Chappell Roan.
“I went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today. My wife is in São Paulo for Lollapalooza Brasil. This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited. She even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire.”
Jorginho continued:
“By coincidence, they’re staying at the same hotel as this artist. During breakfast, the artist walked past their table. My daughter, like any child, recognised her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her.”
Although the player never typed the child’s name, photographs in the sequence point to Ada Law, the daughter of Catherine Harding and actor Jude Law. The Story included a screen capture of Chappell Roan’s profile and a bright handwritten note the girl had prepared for the artist

Jorginho says Chappell Roan “does not deserve” her fans’ love
In his Story, Jorginho continued that a security guard suddenly went to their table and accused the child of harassing the artist when she “didn’t even approach” Chappell Roan.
“She simply walked past the singer’s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn’t say anything, didn’t ask for anything. What happened next was completely disproportionate. A large security guard came over to their table while they were still having breakfast and began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and my daughter, saying that she shouldn’t allow to ‘disrespect’ or ‘harass’ other people.”
Jorginho expressed his disbelief, questioning which part of “simply walking past a table” was harassment. He said his daughter ended up crying, totally shaken, especially after the guard said he’d report it to the hotel.
“My daughter was extremely shaken and cried a lot. I’ve lived with football, public exposure, and well-known people for many years, and I understand very well what respect and boundaries are. What happened there was not that. It was just a child admiring someone.”
Before concluding his post, the Brazilian athlete tagged Chappell Roan and called her out outright.
“WITHOUT FANS, YOU WOULD BE NOTHING. AND TO THE FANS, SHE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR AFFECTION.”
The Red Wine Supernova hitmaker is yet to address the matter.
The incident comes a week after she was spotted filming the paparazzi outside a restaurant, reportedly asking them to leave her alone.
