Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital
Does Britt Westbourne have another death wish? Perhaps she has temporary amnesia? We’re just trying to figure out why she would have Lucas meet her at Pier 55, where nothing good ever happens. First, that was where Jason disappeared for the next five years. In 2012, it was Britt’s father who shot Jason in the back and kicked him into the river while wearing his Duke Lavery mask. We didn’t see the real Jason again until 2017. But in 2022, Britt had quite a fascinating incident there when she tried to skip town without telling anyone. There was Britt, with her luggage, hanging around on Pier 55 when she spied “The Hook” (aka Heather Webber) trying to kill Josslyn. Britt stepped in and saved the day (too bad Josslyn remains completely ungrateful, as that is our Joss). Josslyn lived, Britt was knicked by the poison hook, and we really thought she had died until last summer. That is why Britt choosing Pier 55 as her sneak-out-of-town-with-luggage is so strange and also not very smart. If you have bad luck at a pier and if your boyfriend has even worse luck at the same pier, then choose another pier. We already know this meeting has disaster written all over it as Rocco has followed Britt there, Jason likely won’t show, and Marco is about to meet the end of a knife, but Britt is forging ahead with her pier plans. We just want to know why.
