Here’s your recap for The Bold and the Beautiful episode on Wednesday, March 18, 2006.
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
Electra urged Dylan to leave her new job at Forrester Creations. Dylan started to say that she couldn’t believe how Electra had turned on her, but Electra cut her off. Dylan said that she thought Electra, like Steffy, wanted to see her back on her feet. Dylan added that she couldn’t say no to this opportunity. Electra shot back that Dylan should have said no a long time ago.
Electra reminded Dylan that she had been prancing around in front of Will after they had let her stay there. Electra also brought up that Dylan and Will had kissed. Dylan hastened to point out that, for the record, Electra and Dylan had already broken up. Dylan said that Electra wasn’t perfect.
“Excuse me?” Electra huffed. Dylan reminded Electra that she was homeless and had nowhere else to go, and she had been applying for other jobs. Dylan pointed out that Electra has never had to worry about paying her bills. “I was living out of my car! Afraid for my life!” Dylan said. “I have no money, Electra. I am doing my best…and you have no idea what this is like….I am staying.”
Dylan said she didn’t want to pick a fight with Electra on her first day. She said that she could not turn down this opportunity. “I am not leaving Forrester,” Dylan announced.
Auntie dearest
Meanwhile, Ivy complimented RJ on his designs for the men’s line for Forrester and on his biceps. She asked him if he was working out three times a day. RJ gave a little laugh and responded just once a day. Ivy said that a lucky lady out there could benefit from his physique, adding that she was talking about her niece.
RJ begged off talking about Electra as he was in the middle of work. Ivy suggested he design couture, which Electra could wear. She could be his muse. “Make it happen, RJ,” Ivy suggested as she urged the young designer to become more involved with her niece.
RJ called Ivy out on her directness. Ivy said that she’d love to see something go Electra’s way for once after the deep fake attack, Luna’s reign of terror, and Will’s betrayal. Ivy said she wanted to support Will and Electra, but she couldn’t as Will had let her down. RJ said if Will truly cared about Electra and wanted her to be his girlfriend…Ivy caught him off when she noted that Electra was no longer Will’s girlfriend.
Ivy suggested that RJ has more class than Will. She believed that Will expected Electra to put up with Dylan! Ivy informed RJ that Dylan now worked at Forrester. “It’s not proper. It’s not proper at all,” Ivy scolded.
Ivy said that her niece was the most spectacular woman who deserved the best. She continued to play matchmaker between RJ and Electra. Ivy asked RJ to save Electra from Will Spencer.
A Daphne Rose by any other name
Meanwhile, Will checked his phone and saw an item on Eric’s designs debuting for Logan Designs. Daphne Rose entered and asked him if he was upset over Electra. The perfume creator said that she was known for her ears, not just her nose, and was available to listen. “You still love, Erlectra, don’t you?” Daphne Rose asked.
Will told Daphne Rose that he didn’t want to talk badly about his ex. Daphne Rose said that she was certain that Electra still cared about him. “Sure, we had issues as a couple, but I thought we were going to work through them together.” Will lamented.
Then, Ivy entered and asked if she was interrupting. Daphne said she was asking about Will and Electra’s breakup. Ivy wondered if such an inquiry was rather insensitive. Will jumped in and said Daphne Rose wasn’t being insensitive; she was just offering a supportive ear.
After Will left to go to the shipping department at Forrester Creations, Ivy warned Daphne Rose not to interfere. Daphne countered that Ivy was being hypocritical as she took the letter that Electra wrote to Will. “So?” Ivy shrugged. She said that she did it for Electra’s own good. “You’re lying to her,” Daphne Rose said. Ivy maintained that Will is a disaster and that RJ is a remarkable man who is available to Electra. “He’s just gorgeous,” Ivy added. Daphne Rose suggested that Ivy go after RJ herself.
Just then, Dylan appeared outside the door and overheard Daphne Rose state that Will and Electra would still be together if not for Ivy’s manipulations. “None of this would be happening if it weren’t for you,” Daphne Rose told Ivy.
Then, Daphne Rose exited without noticing Dylan in the hallway. Then, Dylan walked in and closed the door behind her. “What’s going on, Ivy?” Dylan inquired. “What did you do? Are you keeping them apart?”
Showstopping romance
Meanwhile, in the showroom, RJ came upon Electra. He asked her if she was upset about the new employee starting today. Electra said her life was spinning out of control. He urged her to remember that she had other people in her life, including her aunt Ivy and him.
RJ suggested that Dylan’s presence at Forrester Creations could be a placeholder. Electra disagreed. She said that she demanded Dylan leave, but she didn’t budge. Electra said Dylan was the one who didn’t understand. RJ said he hated that she was going through this.
Electra said Dylan was her best friend, and she and Will loved each other so much. She apologized for dumping this all on RJ. He told her that he was there for her. RJ placed his hand on the back of Dylan’s neck and then brushed her cheek with his thumb. “I’m here for you,” he said.
