After nearly three years of watching General Hospital try to force Elizabeth and Hamilton Finn down our throats and another six months of the show doing the same with Elizabeth and Lucky Spencer, our favorite nurse now has two viable suitors. What an embarrassment of riches for this beloved character. First, there is Ric. While it can be argued that their past and his extremely bad moves all those years ago should make a renewed romance a non-starter, there is just something about the way they interact and make one another smile that makes us want to root for this more mature version of them (and a kinder, gentler version of Ric). He even tried to tell her about the time last summer when he was tied to a gurney in Alexis’ basement with a ball gag in his mouth, but Liz didn’t want to hear it. The situation has been resolved, so Elizabeth just wants to move on. Then, we have Dante. Elizabeth isn’t even thinking of Dante in that way, but it sure looks like he is thinking of her in that way, as he can’t stop finding excuses to see her at GH. There is an easiness about them that is worth exploring, but Ric is hanging around and Elizabeth is not telling him to go away. In fact, she wants to see where things go…despite Dante’s warnings…
