Here is your General Hospital recap for Tuesday, March 17, 2026 featuring Josslyn unloading on Sonny and Carly, Ric trying to make amends, Jordan’s pregnancy results, and Portia coming to terms with the end of her marriage.
What happened on General Hospital

Diane and Sonny went over some paperwork regarding a shipping contract, but he told her she didn’t need to handle it. She declined a call from Alexis in the middle of their conversation and urged Sonny to let her handle the delicate situation. Sonny informed her that he had assigned those responsibilities to another attorney.
Diane asked if she was fired. Sonny assured her that she would remain on for his legitimate business practices, but his more complicated dealings had been deferred to someone else. Diane wondered what had changed to ice her out of the type of legal matters she’d grown accustomed to handling.
Sonny reminded her that she’d spent years teetering on the edge of what she could and couldn’t know about his business. He didn’t want Diane to put her in that position anymore, which prompted her to ask who the new lawyer was. Diane’s jaw fell to the floor upon learning that his brother Ric was the name in question.
Diane asked why Sonny would have turned to Ric after all the years he had spent trying to bring Sonny down. Sonny promised that none of it was a reflection of her competence. This was all in the name of formulating a genuine relationship between the pair. The new connection between Sonny and Ric was simply an attempt at finally bridging the gap between siblings.

Alexis left a voicemail for Diane asking when she’d be arriving at the restaurant for their dinner. However, Ric spotted her and asked if the other seat was taken. He requested a minute of her time to let her know that she saved his life when she held him hostage, and he owed her a thank you.
Alexis took control of his phone before agreeing to discuss Ric’s time chained in her basement. Ric came to the conclusion that family was the only thing that truly mattered in life. Prior to his kidnapping, he would’ve never worked things out with Sonny, and he finally made the steps to get to know the real version of his brother.
Alexis found it difficult to trust Ric, and she didn’t want Ric to do anything to rock the boat. Things in Molly’s life were finally in a good place, and she feared that a fallout between Ric and Sonny would derail all of that progress. Ric reminded Alexis that by keeping his mouth shut about what occurred in his basement, he was protecting her, Ava, and also Kristina, so his silence was proof of his changed behavior.
Elizabeth arrived for her date with Ric, and he was pleased that she had accepted his invitation. She asked about the content of his conversation with Alexis, and he told her that he thanked her for helping him throughout the years. Ric wanted the chance to start over with Alexis, which surprised him.
Ric told Elizabeth that he had been retained by Sonny as his attorney for multiple business dealings. She found it baffling that Ric and Sonny would continue working together. Elizabeth worried that working with Sonny could lead to a significant setback in his life.

Josslyn arrived at The Brown Dog and spotted Gio, Emma, Kai, and Trina hanging out together. She flashed back to her blowout fight with Carly, which warned her about the dangers of remaining in the WSB. Josslyn finally made her way over to the group, fully securing her place as fifth wheel.
Everyone claimed that they hadn’t seen Josslyn in quite some time due to how busy she had been. Even Trina hadn’t encountered her in a week, despite living together. The group invited Josslyn to Open Mic Night at Charlie’s grand reopening. Josslyn was thrilled at the chance to see her friends a bit more, especially since Jack told her to return to her life.
Jack and Cullum entered the bar, and Cullum asked if there were any lingering resentments over him taking the lead on the Sidwell case. Josslyn made up an excuse to take off from the bar after spotting Jack and Cullum, but on her way out, Cullum approached her and Trina. Josslyn played it cool with Cullum, but Trina wanted answers about who he was and how she knew him.
Josslyn played it off with Trina that Cullum was creepy and blamed her distance on a recent fight with Carly. Trina encouraged her to talk to Carly because they might be able to patch things up. After Josslyn left, Emma lost it on Jack, telling him to leave Anna alone because the WSB had destroyed her life.

At General Hospital, Isaiah asked Elizabeth for her opinion on earrings that he wanted to purchase for Portia. They both settled on the same pair, and once that was decided, Elizabeth asked if he was truly okay with the speed of their relationship. Isaiah understood how it must look from the outside, but things felt right with Portia.
Stella stopped by Portia’s office and told her to keep her nose out of Jordan’s pregnancy business. She informed her that it was time for a much-needed reality check. Stella told Portia that she encouraged Jordan to take a pregnancy test and find a definitive answer. Jordan was not pregnant, and now it was time for Portia to squash her resentment.
Portia didn’t care what Jordan told her about their run-in at the nail salon. Stella believed that hating Jordan was consuming every waking moment of Portia’s life, and it was time to snap out of it. However, Portia felt differently about the situation. To her, every time she turned around, there was Jordan meddling in her business.
Stella agreed that Curtis should’ve perhaps found someone other than Jordan to confide in. Despite that, becoming close friends again shouldn’t have been enough to drive Curtis and Portia apart. She got Portia to admit that she was responsible for the demise of her marriage because of the incessant lies.
Portia was self-aware enough to know that keeping so many secrets from Curtis led to the downfall of her marriage. She should’ve been more open and honest with Curtis instead of telling him what he wanted to hear. Jordan and Isaiah weren’t responsible for that. The fault was specifically with Portia and with Curtis.

Jordan returned home to Curtis and let him know she was not pregnant, despite a potential scare. Curtis was at a loss for words because he hadn’t been clued in that it was even a possibility. Jordan explained that she didn’t want to tell Curtis anything until she had confirmation one way or another.
Curtis asked whether Jordan was disappointed by the pregnancy test results. Jordan put off taking the test because the idea of being pregnant scared her. Not only was the timing not ideal, but it posed several health threats to her.
Jordan told Curtis that Stella had tracked her down after finding the test, and he apologized for Stella’s invasive behavior. However, Jordan felt like the conversation was long overdue, as it allowed she and Stella to finally clear the air. She did, however, confess to Curtis that Portia knew she might be pregnant.
Jordan didn’t want anything to prevent him and Portia from developing a solid coparenting relationship. Curtis called Jordan amazing for being generous toward Portia despite the latter’s animosity toward her. Portia, by keeping her mouth shut about the potential pregnancy, showed Jordan that she was a good person underneath the lies.

Carly nearly fell to the floor after coming home and seeing Valentin standing in her kitchen. He needed to speak to her about their intimate night together. Valentin asked, “Us sleeping together. Was that the beginning of something, or was that the end of everything?”
Carly took off her jacket and readied herself for the tough conversation. Valentin wanted to get on the same page, and Carly admitted that their night together blurred the lines of their partnership. Valentin joked that Jason graciously decided not to end his life over their connection. However, Carly getting harmed in any way would lead to a vastly different outcome.
Valentin asked if Carly agreed that they could never sleep together again. He also wanted to ensure that she didn’t feel taken advantage of. Carly assured him that she didn’t feel that way and that there were no regrets about their time together. Valentin had a new opinion of Carly after their time together, and he was grateful.
After Valentin retreated to the attic, Sonny dropped by for an unusually late visit. He assumed Carly had spoken to Jason, which she had, and she wished Jason wasn’t leaving. Carly told Sonny about the fight with Josslyn and how it was different this time, so he asked what it was about.
Carly recalled how Josslyn revealed to her that her mission in life was to take Sonny down. She looked at Sonny and was completely honest that he was the reason for their argument. Carly asked Sonny to keep his distance for the time being because of how complicated things had become.
Sonny promised to be there for Carly with whatever she needed. Unfortunately for Carly, Josslyn saw Sonny in her kitchen from outside the window. Josslyn wasted no time storming into the house and laying into Sonny.
After Sonny asked about her problem with him, Josslyn said that if Sonny let the country and his “surviving children” behind, she’d send him a postcard. Until that happened, there was nothing for the two to work on. Carly tried to step in, but Josslyn snapped at her mother for defending Sonny.
Carly told Josslyn to stop coming into her house and condemned her for choices in the past. However, Josslyn claimed her issue was with the decisions Carly was making in the present. Josslyn stormed out of Carly’s house, and it was evident that Sonny realized there was more to the story.
