Boston Blue Episode 12 recap and what sets up Episode 13
Episode 12 of Boston Blue started with a murder before the St. Patrick’s Day parade. Conor Fahey, a volunteer who was helping to organize the celebration, had found out some information regarding a really serious threat, and before he could fully explain what he found, he was shot in an alley while he was trying to meet Lena.
Danny and Lena took over the investigation, and through their search, they found out that Fahey had been secretly tracking a group of suspicious men, and the security found by a specialist named Floyd Conkel helped identify these men.
Danny recognized them, and he mentioned that they were connected to the Mano Sangriento cartel, an organization that he had encountered earlier in his career.
The detectives realized the cartel was not targeting the parade, but their real goal was a teenage boy named Javier Torres because Javier’s father had been a Mexican prosecutor who went after the cartel and was killed for it.
Javier had been hiding in Boston, but someone tricked him and convinced him to come out during the parade.
Danny and Lena tracked the boy through the packed parade to find him before the cartel did, and once they spotted the boy, the detectives also stopped the cartel members before they could reach the boy.
By the end of the episode, Javier was placed into witness protection.
With that being resolved, Episode 13 will move the story forward and show what comes next for Danny, Lena, and the Silver family.
Episode 13 of Boston Blue will continue the show after the crisis that took place at the St. Patrick’s Day parade.
Episode 13, Beautiful Broken Things, will be out on April 3, 2026, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS, and you can also stream it later through Paramount+, with Premium plan users being able to watch it live and Essential plan users being able to watch the episode the next day.
