Born Again Season 2 trailer might have teased the MCU show finally being connected to the main Marvel storyline, here is how

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will bring back Matt Murdock and Karen Page along with Jessica Jones as they join forces to fight back against Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. The show was confirmed to be part of the main Marvel universe, and we even saw Ms. Marvel, aka Kamala Khan’s father Yusuf Khan in Season 1, which further established that the show is part of the main Marvel storyline.

But Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 might actually connect the show to the main Marvel storyline, and that might have been teased by a small detail in Season 2’s teaser trailer.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 might connect to the main Marvel storyline

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 gives us a glimpse at what’s going to happen in the upcoming season. We see Fisk’s AVTF (anti-vigilante task force) in action, and also see Jessica Jones returning and helping Matt. Bullseye will make a return as well, and we will be introduced to a few new characters. But among all this, there’s one tiny detail that, if addressed in the upcoming season, will connect the show to the main Marvel storyline.

At approximately 0:44 timestamp of the Daredevil Born: Again Season 2 teaser trailer, we see Jessica Jones throwing a huge metal door-like structure at an incoming AVTF officer. This fight scene takes place in what seems like a storage unit, used for large sizes of cargo. Right when Jones throws the door-like structure at the incoming AVTF officer, we can see a box on the floor with the logo of O.X.E.

In Thunderbolts*, O.X.E. or the O.X.E. Group is a holding company founded by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. She founded the company to use it as a front to carry out illegal, off-the-books activities and experiments like Project Sentry on humans like Robert Reynolds. Robert later became an extremely powerful being called Sentry as a result of the experiment. In Thunderbolts*, Valentina tries to use operatives Yelena, John Walker, Antonia Dreykov, and Ava Starr among others to destroy any evidence of her connection to the O.X.E. Group or the Project Sentry.

While Project Sentry was stopped at the end of the movie, the company O.X.E. Group might still exist, and most probably does as we see its logo on a box in the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 teaser trailer. This indicates that the events of the show take place in the same universe as that of the Thunderbolts*, which is the universe where the main Marvel storyline is set. The upcoming season thus might connect the show to Marvel’s main storyline.
