Born Again star Tony Dalton talks about his major injury on Season 2 sets that got him hospitalized

Tony Dalton is all set to have some pretty intense scenes in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, as the actor has previously spoken about how a fight sequence for the season left him injured. Talking about the brutal stunt work he did for the show, Dalton shared that he might have even chipped a rib in the process.

Speaking to ComicBookMovie last November, the actor talked about his injury and said,

“I did a bunch of action stuff for this next one that’s coming out of Daredevil, and man, I got hurt. I got hurt hard. I think I must have chipped a rib or something because for two or three weeks I was in bed. I had bruises all over me.”

He then added how the show is all set to bring in some serious action sequences and it’s going to be fun, as he continued,

“It was hard, man. Those guys go hard. The action sequences on those, they say, ‘We’re right on your face, so it’s you, you jump there, hit that guy, and he punches you in the face with a tube.’ It’s like, ‘Okay, let’s go!’ [Laughs]. That’s gonna come out and it’s gonna be a lot of fun. It’s going to be really good fun.”

More details about Daredevil: Born Again

The sophomore season of Marvel’s highly anticipated Daredevil: Born Again is all set to be one of the studio’s most intense chapters yet. Following the explosive finale of Season 1, the upcoming installment promises to raise the stakes for Matt Murdock and the volatile world around him and his enmity with Wilson Fisk.

The revival brought Charlie Cox back as the lawyer-turned-vigilante Daredevil, and joining him is Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. After a seven-year hiatus since Netflix’s original series ended, the reboot was received with much enthusiasm by fans. The premiere episode drew around 7.5 million viewers, signaling that Man Without Fear still commands a devoted audience.

Season 2 is all set to continue directly from the first season’s dramatic cliffhanger, as Fisk tightens his grip on New York City after declaring martial law. Marvel described the season and Matt’s intentions with three words: “resist, rebel and rebuild” as the studio noted that we will get to see him tear Wilson’s empire down to redeem his home as he gets hunted by the villain.

Even more exciting is the return of several familiar faces from Daredevil’s world, especially Krysten Ritter, who is officially set to return as Jessica Jones, joining Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson.

Daredevil: Born Again is all set to release on March 24, 2026.
