Episode 12 of Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 aired on March 5, 2026, on ABC. Titled ‘Get Lucky’, this episode gives us a sneak peek into the chaotic lives of the medical professionals of Grey Sloan.
Teddy takes a tough call for Corban, her critically ill patient. She agrees to perform the complex and fairly new surgical procedure when the other plans do not work out. Teddy panics initially, but she manages to complete the surgery. Owen calms her down and comforts her. They might have signed their divorce papers already, but they do still have feelings for each other. Owen and Teddy share a passionate kiss.
Elsewhere, Mohanty fumbles mid-surgery and puts the patient’s life at risk. Throughout the procedure, she gives a cold shoulder to Jules. The reason? She was jealous when Dr. Toni chose Jules’ idea for the surgery. Mohanty was bitter because she thought she missed the opportunity to win Dr. Toni’s appreciation. Elsewhere, Amelia was hesitating to share with Toni that she has a son. But when she finally did, she learned that Toni is a single mom.

Kim Raver as Teddy Altman
Kim Raver plays Dr. Teddy Altman in Grey’s Anatomy. She’s the chief of surgery and an attending cardiothoracic surgeon. In the previous episode, Teddy and Winston worked together on a complex case. Initially, they do have disagreements, but Teddy realizes that their patient Corban would require the ventral aorta surgery. Teddy has a nervous breakdown and rants it out. After a few initial hiccups, the surgery is a success, and Corban survives. When Teddy reaches home, she apologizes to Owen for venting it out. They eventually kiss, which means that their relationship isn’t over as of now (even though they have signed their divorce papers).
Anita Kalathara as Kavita Mohanty
Anita Kalathara plays Kavita Mohanty in Grey’s Anatomy Season 22. She is a plastic surgery fellow. In this episode, she turns weirdly competitive. When Jules and Mohanty are given a complex case to solve, Mohanty brainstorms procedures. However, Toni ultimately chooses Jules’ idea. Jules knew that the patient, Scott, preferred a quick recovery for his upcoming safari trip.
During the surgery, Toni had to attend to another emergency burn case; she asked Mohanty and Jules to complete the procedure. However, Mohanty didn’t cooperate and messed up the surgery. Now, Scott will require another set of surgeries to recover from the negligence. Mohanty refuses to acknowledge her mistake. She pins the blame on Jules. Mohanty is desperate to win Toni’s attention. Turns out she needs her recommendation to transfer to Boston.
Adelaide Kane plays Dr. Jules Millin
Adelaide Kane plays Dr. Jules Millin in Grey’s Anatomy Season 22. Throughout this episode of Grey’s Anatomy Season 22, Jules tries to understand why Mohanty was being so rude to her. She finally learns about Mohanty’s plan to transfer to Boston. She tells Mohanty that she could’ve shared it with her instead of giving her a cold shoulder. However, it turns out she might be plunged into trouble. After Mohanty messed up the surgery, she tried to pin the blame on Jules.
