The numbers are in for Hulu and Disney+ subscriptions amid the Jimmy Kimmel cancellation drama.
When Jimmy Kimmel Live! briefly got suspended for the host’s comments about Charlie Kirk‘s alleged killer in September, many users threatened to boycott the streamers, with several stars openly saying they were cancelling their subscriptions.

Disney+ experienced an increase of cancellations from 4% in August to 8% in September, while Hulu’s cancellation rates went from 5% in August to 10% in September, per Antenna data provided to The Wrap.
The estimated cancellation numbers for Disney+ and Hulu “totaled 3 million and 4.1 million, respectively, compared to the averages of 1.2 million and 1.9 million, respectively, in the last three months.”
That being said, sign-ups were also higher for Disney+ and Hulu than in recent months as well.
Antenna did not comment on whether the Jimmy Kimmel suspension was to blame, nor did Disney.
