No Tail to Tell was already an anticipated K-drama, and now that it has finally come out, fans cannot wait to watch more of its episodes. So far, the first two chapters have been released on SBS and Netflix, and the story feels fun and unique.
At the heart of the K-drama is Eun-ho, an immortal Gumiho who has lived for centuries. She isn’t completely evil or a pure soul, but instead maintains balance on her scale by committing little crimes and avoiding virtues.
This way, Eun-ho ensures to remain a nine-tailed fox, as she has no interest in becoming a human. On the other side is Kang Si-yeol, who became a top-tier football player after facing notable hardships.
But when these two cross paths, it becomes evident that they are tied together by fate. Episode 2 of No Tail to Tell moves the plot forward, and the synopsis reads:
“Without explanation, Eun-ho’s power drains away after her encounter with Si-yeol. She soon appears before him again, demanding that he make a wish.”

Episode 2 of No Tail to Tell is titled “The Hour of Transfer,” which begins with Si-yeol shocked after witnessing Eun-ho’s nine tails. However, he remains confused, and before he can question Eun-ho, she leaves.
Eun-ho goes straight to the temple and destroys the statues of all the deities, as they don’t appear when she calls them. Lord Pagun finally shows up and explains that Eun-ho remains wicked as she has been, and now a human is dead because of her.
She granted the wishes of Mr. Lee and even made him a client, so he got enough power to cover up the crime, which later resulted in a death. Lord Pagun also reminds Eun-ho that her scale continues to go down, which could result in her downfall.
Eun-ho decides to correct everything and rushes to meet Kang Si-yeol. They met at the bus stop where Si-yeol was waiting for the last bus. However, Eun-ho distracted him, and he missed the bus.
He kept ignoring Eun-ho to find a solution, so she decided to take him home. Eun-ho takes Si-yeol’s hand and uses sorcery to take him home. Si-yeol is left fascinated with her powers and once again grabs Eun-ho’s hand.
For a moment, Eun-ho feels happy to see Si-yeol’s reaction, but then she comes back to her senses. She explains that Si-yeol must help her by making a wish.

No Tail to Tell episode 2 ending explained: A wish rewrites everything

When Kang Si-yeol returns to Korea in episode 2 of No Tail to Tell, Eun-ho decides to meet him. She met him at the airport, where he misunderstood her as a fan and even signed on her dress. Eun-ho feels surprised as Si-yeol seems to have forgotten her.
However, she shows up at his house, and after a few hints, Kang Si-yeol finally remembers Eun-ho. She asks him to make a wish, but Si-yeol mentions he doesn’t have one.
Before leaving, Eun-ho leaves her card behind and also reminds Si-yeol that there will be a time when he will need her. After she left, Woo-seok accidentally met Si-yeol as he was working as a delivery boy.
Si-yeol calls Woo-seok inside his house and learns how things have been so far. When Woo-seok asks Si-yeol about Eun-ho’s card, Si-yeol decides to let Woo-seok use it.
As a result, Woo-seok takes Si-yeol’s place as a top football player while Si-yeol wakes up at Woo-seok’s house. He’s shocked to realize that Eun-ho switched her career with Woo-seok.
As episode 2 of No Tail to Tell ends, Eun-ho makes one thing clear: wishes are not granted literally or fairly. They are shaped by her judgment. And now that the roles are reversed, the question isn’t just whether Si-yeol can reclaim his life, but whether he deserves to.
