Fans react to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime show teaser

Bad Bunny is all set to perform at the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime show that is scheduled to take place on February 8, 2026. While the choice to appoint Bad Bunny as the halftime performer had mixed reactions and backlash, the Puerto Rican artist has released a teaser for the performance.

In the teaser, Bunny is seen wearing a beige blazer as he walks toward the camera, while the text “Super Bowl LX Apple Music Halftime Show” appears on screen. After the teaser was reposted by Pop Base on X, fans and social media users flooded the comment section with their reactions.

While some users expressed excitement for Bunny’s performance, others hoped that the artist approaches it as a show and not a concert.

A user (@2catstacks) hoped that the Puerto Rican singer said a line in Spanish,

“He shoulda spoke a line that was all in Spanish. 🤣”

Another user (@VypexAI) hoped that the artist remembers that it’s a show and not a concert,

Another user (@swappenny) called it a “blasphemy” to let a Latin artist who doesn’t know good English perform at an American stage,

More about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show requirements

As Bad Bunny gears up for his Super Bowl halftime show performance, SuperBowl LX’s field team’s application site notes eyebrow-raising requirements.

According to two separate hiring notices for on-field roles, candidates are required to meet specific height criteria. One notice states that applicants must be between 5’7″ and 6’0″, while a second notice specifies a height range of 5’10” to 6’1″. As outlined in the job description, the role includes on-field responsibilities that require a visible presence, physical engagement, and direct interaction in live environments.

“Field cast will be on the field as performers in the halftime show, learning and executing blocking and movement alongside the headlining artist. This is a disciplined role that requires focus, athleticism and commitment as part of the most-watched live productions in the world.”

The halftime show will be streamed on Peacock and NFL+ at 6:30 p.m. ET.
