Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P for Tuesday, January 13th:
Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Today was another one of those days where we saw just why Sean Freeman’s Andre is just so good for Karla Mosley’s Dani. The cancer storyline is awful, and it’s often hard to watch as it tears at our heartstrings. But through it, we have seen some of the best scenes, like today’s one with Andre and Dani in her kitchen. No, it didn’t feature a tutorial on how to use a dishwasher or the many benefits of using Cascade. (This is not a paid advertisement for P&G LOL) Today we saw Andre scared, scared of losing his wife, and the way he told her that he felt lost after losing his parents, and that he convinced himself that his life and lifestyle were exactly what he wanted them to be, but it was, in fact, not.

Andre told Dani that he had finally felt that he belonged somewhere, and when he looked at her, he had found his home. These words were delivered with what has now become synonymous with Andre Richardson and some absolutely perfect character development. Bravo to the writers and bravo to Sean and Karla for truly making us believe in Dani and Andre
