LIDL’S latest “game-changing” living room buy is set to keep shoppers hotter for longer and it only costs £30.
The German discounter is rolling out a fresh batch of winter warmers in its famous Middle of Lidl, just as chilly temperatures refuse to budge.

The new range of heating gadgets is set to hit stores this Sunday, January 4, and one bargain in particular is already turning heads.
Top of the pile is a £29.99 oil-filled radiator that Lidl claims costs just 42p per hour to run, making it an attractive alternative to firing up the central heating.
With household bills still a worry for many, the plug-in heater could be a smart way to keep warm without heating the whole house.
The radiator is designed to provide comfortable warmth and comes with a variable thermostat and three heat settings, allowing shoppers to adjust how much heat they actually need.

It also boasts a large heating area with seven fins, helping rooms stay warmer for longer once it’s up and running.
Thanks to four castors and a recessed handle, the heater is fully portable, meaning it can be wheeled from the living room to the bedroom with ease.
Safety-conscious shoppers will be pleased to hear it includes tip-over and overheat protection, as well as built-in cable storage to keep things tidy.
The radiator measures 330 x 555 x 240mm, has a 1.8m cable length and comes with a reassuring three-year warranty.
It’s available in both black and white, making it easy to slot into most home décor without standing out like a sore thumb.
Portable heaters like this can be cheaper than using central heating if you’re only warming one room, but experts warn they’re less cost-effective for heating an entire home.
To avoid nasty surprises, shoppers are advised to check their energy tariff and use online calculators, such as those on the Citizens Advice website, to work out real running costs.
According to insurance firm Nimblefins, heating a well-insulated two-bedroom flat to 20 degrees when it’s 5 degrees outside costs around £2.62 a day, making Lidl’s budget heater an appealing option for targeted warmth.
