WITH Christmas over, many people will be soon taking down their trees if they haven’t already.
One woman shared how she had removed her festive fir, and had come up with a clever solution when her home looked rather bare.
In a clip, she shared how she had bought a fake olive tree to make her lounge look more full in the absence of the Christmas tree.
On her @klkadventures account, she wrote: “Replaced Xmas for olive tree… makes sense to me.
“Why am I so impulsive?
“It’s fake! I can’t keep anything real alive apart from.humans.”

She added: “My husband’s reaction when I called him to say I’d bought an olive tree, as the lounge looked too empty without the Christmas tree.”
In the video, she showed herself lugging the tree around the shop before paying for it.
The tree clearly impressed other shoppers, with many asking her where she had bought it.
The woman explained she had picked it up for £59 from The Range.
However, she pointed out that Home Bargains do a cheaper one for £40 – and a small one for £19.99.
She added of her tree from The Range: “This comes with pot and resin stones so looks better I think.”
Many people rushed to the comments to share how impressed they were at her solution to Christmas being over.
One said: “That’s great idea, is that real or fake, looks great.”
Another added: “Omg I literally been wanting to do the same!”
And a third commented: “I did this about 10 years ago now, it was so depressing without the Christmas tree, so now have a tree with lights on for the rest of the year.”
