Didn’t Bonnie already write a book?

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Why is everyone in Salem acting so horrified that Bonnie has penned a manuscript? Maggie seemed a little taken aback by it, and Kate is sure that it will be terribly written and nobody will actually buy and read it, even if Lucas is the star. But why? Bonnie already wrote a bestseller when she was released from prison during the time jump and it changed her life. She changed her fashion style, her hair, and even her demeanor (somewhat), and this is what prompted Justin to fall in love and marry Adrienne’s doppelganger. Bonnie Lockhart, author, has been a thing for years. Sometimes it feels like DAYS likes to forget its own recent history. Of course, Bonnie writing a book called One Rainy Afternoon is a bit comical, considering that Stephanie just wrote One Stormy Night. Which book will end up being more revealing about the men of Salem? We thought Bonnie had written a mystery, but it seems this book will be another soft-core tell-all, along the lines of Fifty Shades of Grey. While it may be fun to see Stephanie smart about having competition in the smutty novel genre, it will also be fun to see what escapades are revealed in the pages of her new tome. Will Maggie learn more about both of her husbands and even her nephew than she has ever known before? Hmmm…
