Primark shoppers baffled as their new Christmas pyjamas appear to have been sold ‘inside out’

THEY were undoubtedly under multiple trees this Christmas.

But there’s a pair of Primark pyjamas that has left people baffled, with Paige taking to TikTok to explain the bizarre issue.

She said that her mum had bought the grey leopard print pyjamas for her, her sister and her sister-in-law for Christmas.

However, when she went to put them on, Paige was confused to find that the fabric on the inside is darker than that on the outside.

She insisted that the nightwear is “not inside out”, as she said that the trousers are exactly the same as the top.

“It’s really confusing!” she added.

“Why is the inside so dark but the outside so light? It’s really throwing me off.

“I can’t get my head around it. Is it like a dodgy batch or what?”

She pleaded with people to “confirm if you’ve got the same”, and “if they’re like this for you or all of us just back to front for some reason, because it’s really baffling all of us!”

“We’ve all spoken to each other like, ;Oh my God, did you think there was inside out as well?’” Paige concluded.

“And we’re all like, yeah, baffled me!”

As requested, the comments section was almost immediately filled with people saying they’d had the same experience with the two-piece set.

“I’m wearing mine right now and think its strange that this video just poppers up,” one wrote, adding: “Yup mine are the same!”

“I got them too and have said the same thing lol,” another added.

“Same, couldn’t get me head round them,” a third commented.

“Yes I have them too and every time I put them on I query it,” someone else said.

“I have these and thought I’d put them on inside out! It should be the darker side on the outside,” another wrote.

“My daughter has them and I thought they’d been made the wrong way!” someone else said.

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it’s down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

“Seems like them have been made the wrong way but rather than wasting them out they went with the flow and sold them as that,” another speculated.

As others said that they’d had the same issue with the pyjamas when they’d bought them a few years ago.

“I had mine about 2 years ago and mine are the same,” one wrote.

“Yeah I got them last year – it does my head in,” another added.

“I got them last Xmas thought exactly the same,” a third commented.

“I turned them inside out lol mad!”

“I’ve got the dressing gown that matches and that’s the same,” someone else said.

Primark has been contacted for comment.
