SHE was left terrified when she popped to her local McDonald’s and a notification popped up on her phone saying that her car was being tracked.
But the truth behind one woman’s ‘stalker’ ordeal was even scarier, as Dina explained in videos on her TikTok page.
In the first clip, Dina said she’d had to pull over because she was so “freaked out” by the message that came up on her phone.
“I went out for a drive, I went to McDonald’s to get myself some dinner and on my way home I saw that my phone had this notification,” she began.
She then showed the message itself, which alerted her to the fact that a “Loshall tag” had been found in the moving vehicle.
“The owner can look up its location,” it added.

“What do I do?
“Like how on earth do I search my car? Help, please help!”
She added hashtags including #SOS, #stalked and #help.
“I experienced this!! From someone at my job,” one person wrote in the comments section.
“An AirTag had my home location, car got searched and they found it sewn into the carpet!!
“It is so scary, contact the police.”
“Go to the police and get them to search it!!!” another advised.
“Better to be wrong and safe.”
“Should be able to click into the notification and it gives option to play a sound so you can hear where it is,” a third said.
“I got this once and was super freaked out, then it disappeared,” someone else wrote.
“I think someone with an air tag must have been near my car and my iPhone picked it up thinking it was following me when it wasn’t.”

TikTok commenter
As others pleaded with Dina to let them know she was safe, she returned to TikTok to share an update – in which she revealed she’d discovered who the culprit was.
“My parents. My parents put a tracking device in my car,” she sighed.
“It wasn’t a stranger. I don’t have a stalker, unless you count my parents as the stalker.
“My parents did it. They called me. They owned up to it. They confessed.”
Dina added she doesn’t know “why they did it”, nor does she care, as she concluded by saying she’s “done with them”.
“Thank god it wasn’t a stranger,” one person commented on that video.
“As a parent I’m hoping they just did this out worrying for you, but they should of told you when they did it.
“I woke up worried for you!”
“People being relieved in the comments are not it, this is still bad bad….” another insisted.
“Wellllllll I’m relieved but shocked and frustrated for you,” a third wrote.
