What to expect on Days of our Lives
Just a few days ago, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) thought she would have to cancel Christmas. For the first time in her life, the ornaments wouldn’t be hung. But then, a miracle happened. Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) returned to town and Chad was rescued from the DiMera crypt. That meant that Christmas could happen after all.
Chad thinks he won’t be able to see his kids for Christmas, as Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) have them in Boston. However, Jack and Jennifer know how much Thomas (Christopher Cary) and Charlotte (Autumn Gendron) want to see their dad, so they bring them home to Salem. Chad reunites with his children for a very happy day, indeed.
Lani and Eli are also on hand for the ornament hanging, as is Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) and Maggie Horton Kirakis (Suzanne Rogers). Julie feels blessed on this day, but she misses Doug (the late Bill Hayes) in the same way Marlena (Deidre Hall) missed John (the late Drake Hogestyn) on Christmas Eve. But such is the circle of life, as Maggie misses both Victor (the late John Aniston) and Mickey (the late John Clarke).
Making amends…and more
Before Maggie makes it to the Horton house, she has an encounter with Xander (Paul Telfer) in her own house. Xander stops by with more gifts for Victoria, as well as a gift for Maggie. Xander tries to make amends with Maggie, but it is easier said than done. She is still furious with him, but begins to soften when she realizes just how sincere Xander is.
Neither Xander nor Maggie knows what is going on in Horton Town Square when Sarah takes a walk with Victoria. She runs into Brady (Eric Martsolf), where things get more intense than usual. Brady has just been through the wringer with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Rachel (Alice Halsey). It was an emotional moment when Rachel decided she wanted nothing but honesty.
Now Brady is decompressing, and Sarah is there for support, as always. One thing leads to another and Brady and Sarah share their very first kiss on Christmas. Will Xander happen by and witness this life-changing moment?
