CARL FROCH has claimed he is banned from attending the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight week after touching down in Miami.
The Cobra has released a YouTube video detailing how MVP promotions, founded by Paul, have denied him entry to the fight week proceedings.
Froch said: “The reason I’m here is to watch what should be a boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Fake Paul.
“But we’ve got a bit of an issue. We’ve come out here. We’ve gone down the correct channels and applied for media accreditation so we can attend the press confrerence and the weigh-in as journalists.
“Froch on Fighting, the biggest channel in the business – the most viewed channel in the business – they should want this channel there reporting on this joke shop event. And that could be the issue.
“We’ve put in accreditation because we want to come to these events to showcase what’s going off whether it’s good or bad. It’s still boxing.

“Bottom line is, we’ve been rejected. We are not allowed to attend any of the media events. What is going on!?

“And the reason I was given to not cover this event is absolutely ridiculous. It’s just a generic e-mail.
“We e-mailed saying we want access, they’ve refused it, we’ve gone back saying ‘what’s going off? We’re the biggest channel in the business, you obviously want us a part of it.’
“Bottom line is, they want to silence us. But the rejection e-mail, it was a template e-mail just listing possible reasons.
“They’re silencing the biggest boxing YouTube channel in the business just because they don’t like my views. And all I do is give honest opinions and what I think.
“We’ve been banned from the event, cancelled, however you want to put it. Silenced. What’s happened to free speech? Whatever happened to it?”
Despite his anger at how his trip to Miami has transpired, Froch insists he will still attend the fight itself.
Froch said: “I’m still going. I’ve got ringside seats, I’ve been invited. I’ll be sat ringside watching this s*** show in clown world, but the fact of the matter is, I have not been given access to the press conference and the weigh-in to stand there and ask a few questions.”
Froch spends close to 14 minutes re-treading the same points, angry that MVP would try to silence him.
The former unified super-middleweight champion has clashed with both fighters in recent years, so the ban is not totally a surprise.
Froch has consistently criticised Paul’s boxing career insisting that the YouTuber is not a real boxer. Speculation has persisted that Froch and Paul may well end up fighting.
The beef between AJ and Froch stems from the latter revealing a bitter Whatsapp exchange with the heavyweight legend.
Theirspat started in the summer of 2024 after Joshua had described Froch as a ‘pr***’ in an interview in response to some criticism.
The Cobra justified sharing screenshots of their back and forth because Joshua refused to settle it with him.
Froch said: “If you’re going to do little backstab jibes and send me messages, abusing me, and then deleting stuff, and then you don’t pick your phone up when I try to give you a call to have a conversation with you man to man, then what am I going to do? I’m going to expose you for what you are.”
