She last posted on Facebook in March, sharing throwback snaps of a trip to the Bahamas.

And, she had a service dog Chief.

In December 2023, Ilenre described her pooch as goofy and incredible.

She shared a picture of the dog just sitting by her.

“While most of Chief’s supportive actions go unrecorded during difficult moments, this picture highlights his intuitive understanding of my needs,” she said.

Ilenre was a law student at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

She worked in a local ministry as a social media director and photographer.

And, members of the ministry have paid tribute.

Walter D’Andre Green described Ilenre as someone who had an infectious smile.

“I had the privilege of watching her grow from an awkward sophomore in college into a young woman preparing to take on the world as a law student,” he wrote on Facebook.

“She was brilliant, driven, and fearless in thought.

“One thing about Rizi — she loved to debate.

“She thrived in apologetics and theological discourse, and I think that’s part of why we were so close. She loved truth, and she wasn’t afraid to wrestle with it.”

Green said that her death “hurts” deeply.

Shawnetta Green described the influencer as someone who was loving and caring.

She spoke about how she received a voice mail from Ilenre in January 2024 and said she’s never deleted it.

“I listened to that message today. You weren’t singing my praises,” she said.

“You weren’t wishing me a happy birthday. It was just a regular message.

“A messages with you being you…and that was enough. It was always enough.”
