Inside the imagination of Viktor & Rolf

For over 30 years, Dutch design duo Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren known as Viktor&Rolf have blurred the line between fashion and art, creating avant-garde couture that feels as conceptual as it is masterfully crafted. Often calling themselves “fashion artists,” the pair are celebrated for their technical brilliance, provocative storytelling, and deep fashion knowledge.

Now on view at the High Museum of Art, this marks the first U.S. exhibition dedicated to Viktor&Rolf and features over 100 bold looks alongside sketches, videos, and archival pieces that reveal their creative process. From dramatic, performance-driven runway moments to slogan-covered tulle gowns and gravity-defying silhouettes, the craftsmanship is breathtaking. I was completely blown away especially by the satin, PVC, and Swarovski crystal floral dress and the romantic corseted tulle gowns. If you’re in Atlanta and love fashion as art, this exhibition is an absolute must-see. Take a peek inside…
