COPS are investigating after a man allegedly behaved “suspiciously” towards three schoolgirls outside a Sainsbury’s and a popular park.
The youngsters reportedly “ran away in fear” after he approached them in broad daylight in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire.
Northamptonshire Police said: “Police officers are appealing for witnesses following two suspicious incidents in Burton Latimer.
“The first incident happened in High Street in the alleyway next to Sainsbury’s on Tuesday, November 11, between 3.40pm and 4pm, when a man behaved in a strange manner towards a schoolgirl.
“The second incident happened at the recreational ground near Victoria Street on Tuesday, November 25, between 3.40pm and 4pm, when the same man’s behaviour caused two schoolgirls to run away in fear.
“Witnesses or anyone with information or dash-cam footage are asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
