IAN WRIGHT has broken his silence on the terrifying moment Laura Woods collapsed on live TV.
Arsenal and England legend Wright had been working alongside presenter Woods and pundit Anita Asante during ITV’s coverage of England Women against Ghana on Tuesday.

However, in scary pre-match scenes, Woods collapsed when she fell ill.
The 38-year-old was caught by pundits before ITV cut to an advertising break.
Woods issued an update shortly after thankfully confirming she was okay following the terrifying scenes.
She had said on Instagram: “Gosh that was a bit weird. Sorry to worry everyone, I’m Ok, the wonderful paramedics at Saints have said it’s probably a virus, just need a bit of rest and rehydration.
“I’m really embarrassed that happened on TV, but a big thank you to my colleagues at ITV who have really looked after me tonight. And to Wrighty and Neets for catching me, and sorry again x.”
And now Wright has lifted the lid on the incident, admitting it was “worrying at the time”.
The 62-year-old was asked for an update while appearing on The Overlap podcast alongside Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Jamie Carragher and Jill Scott.
