Keys to the Future is a buyer-focused experience that breaks down myths and offers clear steps toward financial stability and property ownership

For too long, the path to homeownership has been shrouded in myths, stress, and a sense that it’s “for other people.” But the truth is this: more of you are qualified and closer to owning property than you’ve been led to believe. That’s why Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago (NHS) is proud to launch Keys to the Future, an eight-episode, culturally tailored program designed to prepare and inspire aspiring property owners to make the leap from renting to owning. In partnership with rolling out, we’re not simply talking about homeownership, we’re showing you how to claim it.
This isn’t just another housing virtual seminar or financial literacy workshop. Keys to the Future is part education, part inspiration, and part empowerment. Through a unique blend of live conversations, guided learning, and real-world stories, the series brings together first-time homebuyers, home buying coaches, investors and industry experts to illuminate every step of the journey. From budgeting and credit to paperwork, real estate partnerships, and even the mental health side of property ownership, participants will receive the tools and the confidence to claim their place.
Each episode presents another key. A key to readiness. A key to financial planning. A key to navigating the complex, sometimes intimidating steps leading to property ownership. Perhaps most importantly, we’ll help you by presenting the picture of the stability and potential boost to generational wealth that property ownership provides.
