Taylor Farms’ Cyclospora Recall List: Full List of Lettuce Sold in 27 States, Revealed – Just Jared – Celebrity News and Gossip

Cyclospora has been a trending topic for several weeks across the United States as cases of the bacteria have risen.

Now, some lettuce products have been recalled by Taylor Farms de Mexico of Guanajuato, Mexico because it has the potential to be contaminated with Cyclospora, which can cause Cyclosporiasis in humans.

The prevalent symptom of the illness includes watery diarrhea. The CDC notes, “Other common symptoms include loss of appetite, weight loss, stomach cramps/pain, bloating, increased gas, nausea, and fatigue. Vomiting, body aches, headache, and fever may be noted.”

Where was the recalled lettuce sold in the United States?

According to the CDC, the shredded iceberg lettuce that is being recalled was distributed beginning on June 29 thru July 16 in the following states: AL, AR, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WI.

The brand said in the recall notice, “We are actively removing the implicated products. The company has stopped receiving product from the implicated lot, suspended distribution of the iceberg lettuce from Central Mexico, notified our customers, and we are continuing to work with the FDA, CDC, and state authorities.” The company also sells salad kits (as seen in the below photo), but have said they are not part of this recall.

Experts are warning that this may not be the only source of the outbreak, but this still remains unclear.
