Victor and Nikki share one of the great love stories in soap opera history, not just on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers for Tuesday, July 7, 2026, when Victor makes an unexpected decision about Nikki’s medical care. Meanwhile, Patty gets the upper hand against Diane as Jack’s life hangs in the balance.
Welcome Home

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his wife, Nikki Reed Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), gave us some of the best drama we’ve seen on soaps over the last six months. Their love story is certainly epic, but these two know how to spar and trade quips better than most. Watching them fight has been like watching your folks’ favorite friends break up.
Now, however, Victor is taking a different approach. Nikki’s health crisis has caused him to rethink what’s truly important in life. Victor pulled out all the stops to get his wife the best care possible. The doctors may have done all they can. Perhaps Victor’s love will bring Nikki to a full recovery.
On Tuesday’s episode, watch for Victor to make an unexpected decision about Nikki’s care. We suspect he’ll be opening his heart — and his door — to her once again!
Crazy Like a Fox

Patty (Stacy Haiduk) has a new obsession in life. She used to want to be Jack’s (Peter Bergman) wife again. Now, it appears as if she doesn’t care if he lives or dies. Stabbing someone with a knife in their side tends to send that message.
Was it Patty’s plan for Jack to try to kill Jack all along? Or did she get the idea to stab him and then frame Diane (Susan Walters) for the attack? Given that Diane has an alibi — she was with Kyle (Michael Mealor) when Jack was attacked — Patty’s plan may not work.
On Tuesday’s episode, watch for Patty to get the upper hand with Diane. Will her convincing performance sway the police that Diane is the guilty one and she’s the innocent one?
Jack Attack

Also on Tuesday’s episode, watch for Jack’s life to hang in the balance! He suffered a life-threatening injury when Patty sliced into him with a knife. If Jack is well enough to talk to the police, then he can inform them that it was his first wife — not his current bride — who did the nasty deed.
Jack thought he had the upper hand with Patty, but she got the better of him. Will he live to tell the tale of what truly went down? Or will the police narrow their focus on Diane, who has an alibi?
Do you think Victor and Nikki will reunite? Will Jack be able to tell the police that Patty stabbed him? Let us know in the comments section below!
