Here is the General Hospital weekly recap for episodes that aired from Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 3, 2026. It was a thrilling and action-packed week in Port Charles. Cassius’ time pretending to be Nathan finally collapsed while Cullum tried to cover his tracks, and Sidwell’s plans fell apart at Ava’s gallery.
Meanwhile, Joss and Obrecht worked to escape Wyndemere, Nina saved Jack from Cullum’s murder attempt, and Britt’s situation became even more complicated after Joe revealed something strange about her medication. Meanwhile, everything exploded as a bloodbath ensued on Spoon Island. By the end of Friday’s episode, Joss had made a major deal with the WSB, Britt’s relationship with Liesl was in trouble again, and Rocco tried to sneak off to see Britt before Danny confronted him with the truth.
What happened on General Hospital?

This week on General Hospital, Anna finally convinced Felicia to listen to her about Nathan. She showed Felicia Madeline’s letter to Faison about Obrecht’s other son, Cassius, and explained that Nathan never returned. Cassius had taken his place. Felicia still had doubts at first, but she agreed to look into it for James’ sake.
Felicia later tried to warn Cody to keep James away from “Nathan,” but Cody’s phone was still damaged after James sprayed it with a water gun. By the time the message came through, Cassius had already shown up at the batting cage and tried to leave with James. Fortunately, Cody stopped him before he could take the boy.
In France, Felicia later told Anna that she had been right about everything. The doctor accepted Felicia’s account and agreed Anna was ready to go home. Anna was relieved, but after Felicia left, Peter August appeared in her room and suggested Felicia had bought the story, leaving Anna’s recovery still complicated.
Cassius is exposed

Cassius began the week under pressure from Cullum, who ordered him to kill Sidwell instead of arresting him. Cullum wanted Sidwell dead because his grief over Marco made him a liability. He also warned Cassius that Joss and Obrecht would pay if he failed.
Cassius joined Joe on the stakeout at Marco’s empty house, where Ezra helped Sidwell out of hiding. Joe wanted to call in SWAT, but Cassius stopped him by claiming there might be a leak in the department. Sidwell then exposed him in front of Joe and Ezra by calling him Cassius Faison.
Cassius turned his gun on Joe, but he did not shoot him. Instead, he knocked Joe out, threatened Sidwell, and let him run. He also kept Joe’s gun away from Sidwell and left Ezra behind to help Joe. Afterward, Cassius snapped his SIM card and seemed ready to leave town.
He later found James at the batting cage and told him goodbye. Cassius admitted he had made a mistake he could not fix. He told James that if anyone ever said he did not love him, that would be a lie. In a heartbreaking moment, James begged him not to go, but Cassius left anyway and prepared to flee under the name Oliver Brown.
Wyndemere becomes a trap again

At Wyndemere, Obrecht completed Faison’s cold fusion prototype, but she and Joss remained locked in the cell beneath the house. Joss pushed Obrecht to use the electrical wiring to open the door, and Obrecht eventually found a way to work the lock.
Carly also went to Wyndemere after Danny and Charlotte gave her instructions on how to sneak in. She was caught by Cullum, who told her she had saved him a trip. Carly warned him that Valentin had gone to the WSB to expose him, but Cullum claimed Valentin was either dead or locked away somewhere.
Danny and Charlotte then created a distraction at the docks using firecrackers to make Cullum’s people think there was gunfire. That bought Carly some time, but Harker stayed behind to kill her. Carly fought back with a fireplace poker before Cassius arrived and shot Harker, then gave Carly the code to the cell where Joss and Obrecht were being held.
Carly reached the cell just as Obrecht reconnected the wires and got the door open. Carly reunited with Joss, but Joss ran off to help Cassius stop Cullum from moving the device. Obrecht locked herself and Carly back inside the cell so Carly could not follow and get herself killed.
Sidwell turns on everyone

Sidwell’s week went badly from almost every direction. He first used Justine as a way to lure Sonny after realizing Ava would not be a useful hostage. At Ava’s gallery, Sidwell held Ava, Ethan, and Justine at gunpoint. Ava insulted him and called him out for what he did to Lucas and Marco, which only made the situation worse.
Sidwell tried to shoot Ava, but Ethan jumped in front of the bullet. Justine pushed Sidwell’s gun arm down, giving Ava and Ethan enough time to escape to a storage room. Ava discovered Ethan had been shot and worked to stop the bleeding while they were trapped inside.
When Sonny arrived, Sidwell demanded that Sonny help him escape by fueling up his jet. Sonny instead offered himself as a hostage. Then Sonny revealed that Cullum, not Sonny, killed Marco after Marco turned on the operation and helped Lucas. Sidwell lost control, and Sonny got the gun away from him. Justine stopped Sonny from killing Sidwell, promising she could take him down legally. Sidwell was arrested, and Justine later kissed Sonny after thanking him for not making her prosecute him for murder.
At the same time, Ethan’s condition worsened in the storage room. While Ava tried to keep him awake, he mentioned Phoebe and said she was not his daughter. Ava was stunned, though she had to keep her focus on getting Ethan help after he lost so much blood.
Jack survives as Britt’s mystery grows

Cullum also tried to finish off Jack at Turning Woods. He restrained Jack, put a gas mask on him, and released carbon monoxide while telling him his end would come soon. Nina arrived with food and found Jack unconscious. She started CPR and brought him back before helping him turn off the gas.
Jack told Nina that Cullum tried to kill him and wanted her to tell the WSB. Nina realized that if she reported it too quickly, Cullum would know Jack survived. She offered to get Jack moved to another room under a new name and said she was going to bribe someone to make it happen.
At the hospital, Joe told Lucas that Sidwell said “Nathan West” was really Cassius Faison. Lucas explained that Faison was Britt and Nathan’s father. Joe also mentioned the syringe from Britt’s room and said her medication contained only saline. Lucas immediately knew that that made no sense because Britt believed she was treating a real condition.
That clue became even more important after Cullum later told Cassius and Joss that Britt never had Huntington’s. He said her diagnosis had been fabricated from the beginning to force her into finishing Faison’s work. Joss overheard that while trying to help Cassius stop Cullum.
Joss takes the only deal she can

On the docks, Cassius tried to stop Cullum and his rogue agents from moving the cold fusion device. Joss arrived to help, and the two were quickly outnumbered. Cullum shot Joss, then returned to finish off Cassius. He told Cassius that he had always planned to make him the fall guy for the whole operation.
Cassius was shot and left barely alive, but he told Cullum that at least Britt had gotten away. Cullum then revealed that he had swapped Britt’s medication, which Cassius had swiped and sent to her, with poison. He then claimed she was probably already dead. While Cullum talked, Joss reached for a stray shotgun and shot him in the chest before passing out.
WSB head director Z arrived at the scene by helicopter. After giving one of the wounded anonymous henchmen a bullet to the head, he continued and found Joss. The next day, he visited her in the hospital and told her she had been in surgery all night, that Cullum was dead, and that Cassius had also not survived. He asked Joss for a full debrief because she was the only surviving witness to several WSB agents being killed.
Joss understood what Z wanted. He needed her to say Cassius was behind the crimes and that Cullum died heroically trying to stop him. Joss hated lying about Cassius because he saved her life in the end, but she agreed to tell the story if Z released Valentin and Jason and dropped the charges against them. Z accepted the deal and told her she had a bright future at the WSB.
Friday brings the fallout

Friday’s episode focused on the fallout from everything that happened at Wyndemere and the docks. Dante and Lulu brought Rocco home, but Rocco was angry that Dante had Britt arrested. Dante tried to explain that it was for Britt’s protection, but Rocco felt betrayed because Britt had helped him. Dante later told Lulu that Mac had called with news that Nathan was not Nathan, and Lulu realized her relationship with him had been a lie.
Britt was held in a jail cell, where Agent Vaughn told her to cooperate with the WSB. Britt said she had been coerced into working on the cold fusion weapon and would not say more without a lawyer. Liesl later visited her, and their reunion quickly fell apart. Britt apologized for not telling her about Cassius, but Liesl believed Britt kept things from her because she did not truly want her in her life. She left, saying she would focus on the child who wanted her around, not knowing that Cassius was gone.
At the PCPD, Molly represented Danny and Charlotte as they asked Vaughn about Jason and Valentin. Vaughn confirmed Jason and Valentin remained in WSB custody but would not say much more. Molly asked him to arrange some kind of communication so the kids could know their fathers were alive and all right. Vaughn said he could not promise anything, but he would try.
Friday ended with several problems still moving. Lucas visited Joss and told her Carly was worried about her, while Carly went to Z’s office and demanded that her daughter be released from the WSB. Charlotte went to Lulu and said she needed help with Valentin. At the same time, Rocco tried to sneak out to see Britt, but Danny stopped him on the porch and confronted him with the fact that Jason was blamed for shooting Cullum when Rocco was the one who really pulled the trigger.
