Aaron Lewis reacts to record label using album for Taylor Swift merch packing material

As per recent news report by Page Six, singer Aaron Lewis speaks up after record label used his album as packing paper for Taylor Swift merchandise.

Lewis took to the social media platform X and said that pages from his unrealeased album were being used as packaging material in Taylor Swift merch.

The Staind frontman wrote on X on Thursday, “Oh look, there’s my new album, that hasn’t even been released yet, shredded as packaging paper in Taylor Swift merch, Ain’t that some s—.”

Aaron Lewis posted his status in response to a fan’s unboxing video which depicted the fan, perplexed, piecing together torn paper to reveal the cover of Lewis’ unreleased album Give Me Back My Country.

The singer of Country Boy expressed his amazement at receiving fragments of an album that hasn’t even been released in stores.

He declared, “That’s the cover to my brand-new record, which hasn’t even been released yet. As artists, we rely on the distribution companies to deliver our content up front and trust that they will be accountable for what we give them.”

Aaron Lewis claimed that since he doesn’t use social media, his crew was the first to inform him of the error.

“I have no social media accounts. When I was younger, I didn’t have it. He told USA Today, “It’s never felt important to me.”

“I never had a MySpace at all. Therefore, I don’t see anything like that. And I was like, “What is going on?” when this was brought to my attention. This is simply strange.

At first, fans who ordered Swift’s new I Knew It, I Knew You CD collection believed that Swift’s lyrics were buried in the torn pages.

Instead, Swifties on social media discovered that the paper included album pages, artwork, and lyrics from Lewis’ new album, which is scheduled for release on July 17 through Big Machine Label Group, Swift’s previous label, with Universal Music Group handling the merchandise.

Lewis claimed he has no idea how the record materials ended up being packaging filler, despite the fact that his music has gotten more conservative since his early nu-metal days with Staind.

He said, “I don’t know how this happened. I don’t know that it’s not malicious, but I hate to think it is. I haven’t even released the record yet. It’s not as if they chose to use outdated items that were lying around to create packaging materials. I’ve set a new record. I simply don’t see how such a thing could occur.”
