Dutton Ranch Episode 8 blows the lid off 10-Petal Ranch’s biggest secret

In the previous episode, Beulah made a shocking announcement about the future of 10 Petal Ranch, which Joaquin did not like. She announced that Rob-Will will be taking on the charge of the ranch instead of Joaquin. In Dutton Ranch Episode 8, after Beulah regains consciousness at the hospital after her heart attack, she is eager to speak to her sons. Both Joaquin and Rob-Will enter Beulah’s room. Beulah then tells Joaquin to make peace with Rob-Will despite their differences.

Joaquin is not eager to do so and points out that Beulah lied to him. Rob-Will further adds to the chaos by telling Joaquin that he will need to find a new job. Beulah quickly tries to solve the issue by telling Rob-Will that he needs Joaquin. She appreciates Rob-Will for his skills as a cowboy, but also notes that he is not as skilled as Rip. She also appreciates Beth’s business acumen while comparing her to Joaquin.

The anger that Joaquin felt after being betrayed by the situation causes him to take a drastic step at the end of Dutton Ranch Episode 8. The ending of this episode also unveils the secrets that 10 Petal Ranch had been hiding from the world. Joaquin arrives to meet Sheriff Handy Wade and give him a gun. When Wade asks about the gun, Joaquin reveals that it is a murder weapon that Rob-Will used to kill Wes Ayers.

After Joaquin asks Wade to issue a warrant, which might stop Rob-Will from taking over the ranch, Wade asks for the location of Wes’s body. When Joaquin states that he is searching for the body, Wade tells him to leave without paying any heed to his concerns. At the beginning of Dutton Ranch, Joaquin was given the gun by Chet Davis. Chet initially thought that Joaquin would get rid of the gun, but in the end, Joaquin kept it so that he could use it to get his brother, Rob-Will, in trouble.

Joaquin initially knew about Wes’ body as Rob-Will told him that Wes’ body was hidden on the Dutton ranch. However, when he went on the ranch to search for the body, the body had already been removed by Rip after he found it. At the end of Dutton Ranch Episode 8, Austin arrives to speak to Zach and asks if he can trust him and Rip. After getting his confirmation, Austin sits down with Zach, Rip, and Beth and begins to tell the truth about the 10-Petal ranch.

He tells them that he had his suspicions, as the ranch was always able to bring big cattle loads despite the borders being shut down due to screwworms. He then reveals that Wes was the one who was eager to get to the bottom of the truth about 10-Petal Ranch’s ability to keep their business going despite the multiple challenges they faced. It is revealed at the end of Dutton Ranch Episode 8 that 10-Petal has an operation in Mexico that steals and smuggles cattle illegally.

The paperwork related to it all is also forged for the Border Patrol and cattle brokers. These illegal activities were the only way the ranch was able to keep going on despite the immense mismanagement, and it was also able to keep living in luxury.

Austin reveals that the whole Jackson family is crooked, and with their actions, they are putting every ranch in South Texas at risk. Episode 8 ends with this shocking revelation about the 10-Petal Ranch, which Rip and Beth are also now aware of. It will be intriguing to see how the two of them navigate in the upcoming episodes after knowing the truth about Beulah Jackson’s actions.

At the very end of Dutton Ranch episode 8, Joaquin also gets extremely frustrated with the situation, considering his plan to make Rob-Will suffer by giving the murder weapon to the sheriff did not work. The stakes are high for the upcoming episodes of the series as the secrets are out and the fates of the characters are at stake.
