“If Samay Raina joked about Trump and Trump actually reacted like this… bro that’s insecurity, not leadership.”

They shared the fake Truth Social post, which read:

“The FAKE Indian comedian Samay Raina has some low-energy loser do a DISASTROUS Trump impersonisation on his garbage show “India’s Got Latent.””

The post continued:

“I personally ordered the U.S. State Department to revoke his visa immediately. Nobody comes to America and mocks their President like that. Not on my watch!”

The post added that with respect to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “we don’t love this nasty, low-ratings comedy. Beyond impersonating Trump, contestant Avinash Aggarwal roasted celebrity guests such as actress Alia Bhatt and Sharvari on the show. He also made jokes about H-1B visas, the Iran-Israel conflict and more.

People reacted with memes and laughter, taking the fake post as a light-hearted joke. Raina recently completed his Still Alive Tour 2026 in the US and Canada, which was held from February to March. This was his major North American leg. Since then, he has been back in India, focusing on hosting India’s Got Latent Season 2. His comedy tour is still ongoing in India, and he recently performed in Delhi, Bengaluru and Pune.

Samay Raina has previously commented on Trump while opening up about his performance at Madison Square. He said:

“What can I say about Donald Trump? He files a case straightaway. The last thing I want in the United States is a legal case against me. I have to be careful with my words because I’m here on an artist visa.”

Trump has a long history of clapping back at the late-night hosts and comedians who roast him. He has labeled them as untalented, overpaid and peddlers of “fake news.” Some of the examples include – Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel and Bill Maher.
