From Season 4 is going to come to an end with its final episode on June 28, 2026. The season finale will definitely end with a cliffhanger and lay the foundation for the fifth and final season of the show.
Since this is going to be the last episode of the show before the final season, a big revelation needs to happen. However, some characters might die, and things will most likely go sideways in the highly anticipated finale.
From Season 4 finale spoilers
The logline for the episode doesn’t reveal any From Season 4 Episode 10 Spoilers, but it does make it clear that the episode will change everything for the residents of Fromville. The logline reads as follows:
Boyd’s quest to lead the residents home reaches a terrifying crossroads, and nothing will ever be the same again.
Interestingly, the episode’s title is If a Tree Falls in the Forest…, which suggests that the bottle tree will be cut down. The only way to the chamber was through the underground tunnels where the monsters sleep during the day. Since that route cannot be taken, Jade had suggested that they cut down the bottle tree to make a way.
However, Boyd initially did not want to go through with the plan because that would leave them with only one way out, which could be extremely dangerous. In Season 4 Episode 9, the Boy in White warned Victor that they must not let anyone remove or destroy the town’s bottle tree. But now that the finale’s title suggests that the tree will get cut down, we will most likely see terrible consequences of that.
Leaks and predictions suggest that Jade and Tabitha will go underground to dig up the bones of the children, despite the Man in Yellow telling Tabitha that uncovering the bones is both the key to salvation and unimaginable suffering. True to the show’s nature, both parts of that promise will most likely come true.
Boyd, Ellis, and Fatima will head into the caves as well and try to pull Jade and Tabitha out safely. They will most likely cut down from the bottle tree and drop a rope ladder into the cave system. This plan sounds risky and might work, but as both the Man in Yellow and Boy in White have revealed, this might have horrific consequences for the residents.
Sophia will most likely be the one who destroys this plan. She is predicted to be the one who secretly gets to the rope ladder before Jade and Tabitha are rescued and cuts it. When Boyd’s team tries to pull Jade and Tabitha up, the ladder snaps, and they are left stranded underground with no way out.
But Sophia will most likely not stop there. She is predicted to go from building to building across the entire town, collecting every single talisman she can find. One by one, she will strip them away and take them all to faraway tree and dump every last one of them inside. Every home in the town will then be completely unprotected and exposed, allowing the creatures to walk into any and every house.
Predictions also suggest that Sophia will lead the Boy in White to the faraway tree and try to provoke him by saying that he is not as ancient or as powerful as everyone had assumed. BIY will, however, not be affected by this and will tell Sophia (aka MIY) that he is going to lose this time, which further emphasizes that this battle has been fought before, but they lost. The question of who that was and whether history is about to repeat itself is not known yet.
Down in the caves, the rescue mission is predicted to fall apart, as mentioned earlier. Fatima, who has been scared she’s getting transformed into a monster, will apparently go through a horrifying physical transformation underground. She will turn into one of the monsters, and instead of helping Boyd and Ellis, she will turn on them.
The casualties do not stop with the talismans. Smiley is predicted to kill Marielle, and Sophia is predicted to kill Elgin. The town will be destroyed from within at the same time it becomes defenseless from outside. Meanwhile, Henry will reach a breaking point. Convinced that none of this is real, he will take a gun from the sheriff’s station and go to confront Victor. Only Ethan walking in will stop him from doing something irreversible.
Predictions and leaks also suggest that From Season 4 finale will reveal that the main antagonist of the show isn’t the Man in Yellow, but someone else. The finale is also predicted to reveal who the big bad is.
