Do PG ratings matter in leading the box office?

Toy Story 5 successfully brought massive crowds to theatres, with 70% of them being families. It created another highly profitable summer weekend because the entertaining story attracted every type of viewer. This excellent American origin film became a giant global hit because it pleased children, teenagers, and adults.
Over the last two years, safe family films with PG ratings earned more money than movies made for older people. Additionally, popular animated films usually sell tickets slowly and steadily rather than all at once.
