The June 17, 2026 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful featured Steffy making a surprising commitment to Hope and her fashion line, while Sheila’s long-awaited return left Deacon and Taylor stunned.
Steffy’s Offer Changes Everything
Steffy believed she already knew what was going on with Hope. She didn’t think it was a stretch to figure out what Hope was up to, and she was ready to put a stop to it. Hope tried to play it off, but Steffy wouldn’t let up. However, the longer Steffy went on about it, the more it became clear that she had no clue about Hope working for Logan.
Steffy wanted to have a more open line of communication between her and Hope. She wanted her longtime rival to return to Forrester, and she knew exactly how to make that happen. Hope didn’t think the day for her line’s return would ever come, but she was sadly mistaken. Not only was it coming back, but the return was imminent. Hope’s future at Forrester looked brighter than ever just as she crafted a new path at Logan.
Not only was Steffy genuinely committing to Hope and her line, but she wanted to announce it right away. This was everything Hope wanted to hear from Steffy and Ridge, so the glum look on her face made things even more suspicious. Steffy claimed that putting the line on hold was always temporary, so any misunderstanding was on Hope.
Regardless of their issues, Steffy and Hope were always going to be connected. They each share a daughter with Liam, and beyond that they share RJ as a brother. Brooke and Ridge, along with Deacon and Taylor, only deepen those ties.
Steffy saw that Hope was completely caught off guard, so she uncharacteristically pulled her in for a hug. However, that wasn’t enough for Hope. Nothing Steffy was doing mattered at that point. She felt like it was too late to wipe away all of the hurt, and with that said, she wanted to confess everything.
Bill, Liam, and Katie Fear the Worst
Katie and Liam panicked about Hope’s meeting with Steffy, despite Bill telling them both to relax. Nobody knew that Hope was working at Logan, so unless Steffy was psychic, there was nothing to indicate that she had discovered the truth.
Bill didn’t think the mystery meeting had anything to do with Hope joining Logan. Hope is technically still an employee of Forrester, and she has a line on the back burner, so why wouldn’t Steffy want to speak with her? Taking a leave of absence didn’t suddenly mean she cut all ties with her longtime employer.
Eric wanted to congratulate RJ on a job well done with the new line, but at least Ridge wanted to compliment Zende too. Even if Eric wasn’t willing to acknowledge how great a job he was doing, Ridge seemed to notice.
Brooke Can’t Let Logan Go
Brooke brought up her sister and Logan, and she couldn’t help but recall how Eric had designed for that company instead of the one he founded. They were all convinced that Katie would be a one-hit wonder with Logan. Eric was disappointed in Katie for apparently doing what she was legally and contractually allowed to do, but business is only business when it’s Forrester doing it.
Brooke couldn’t stop talking about Katie. Despite the big fashion event on the horizon for Eric and the couture line, all of her energy was being used to run down her little sister. The handshake agreement meant nothing because she couldn’t muster an ounce of genuine support if she tried.
Sheila’s Silence Comes to an End
Taylor and Deacon met at her office, and they kissed while joking about his previous time as her patient. Those days were long gone, not that they abided by any sort of ethical code of conduct in the first place. That line was crossed long before Sheila ever learned about their involvement.
Deacon recalled everything they went through to become a real couple, which included braving the potential wrath of Sheila. They couldn’t help but feel a little uneasy since nobody had heard much from her since the split. Sheila going radio silent felt somehow more sinister than anything she could have done in the heat of the moment.
Deacon was eager to put his marriage to Sheila in the past, but she still hadn’t signed the papers. That left Taylor wondering if Sheila would become an issue for them, but Deacon didn’t want to discuss her. The best thing for him was to forget about that chapter of his life and look toward a brighter future with Taylor.
Deacon believed that Sheila knew their relationship had come to an organic conclusion, but that wasn’t why he chose to pursue Taylor. He planned on spending the rest of his life with her from the moment they connected. The sweet moment between the lovers quickly turned into something out of a horror movie as Sheila walked into the office.
