Previously married to the niece of the late US President John F. Kennedy and journalist Maria Shriver, veteran actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger was recently spotted with his longtime girlfriend, Heather Milligan, according to the Daily Mail. Interestingly, the 78-year-old former Governor of California, Arnold, came across Milligan right after Shriver filed for divorce in 2011. After a decade, The Total Recall star and Shriver officially split in 2021.
As per the Daily Mail, the FUBAR actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has kept his relationship with Heather Milligan away from media and public attention, was seen attending the Austrian World Summit on June 16, 2026, in Vienna in order to support and promote his The Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative.
However, the power couple was accompanied by Kamala Harris, the former US Vice President, and joined by Alexander Van der Bellen, the President of Austria. As cited by the Daily Mail, according to the organizers, the primary objective of the Summit is:
“To offer a broad platform for concrete solutions and successful ideas that motivate and act as role models as well as connect people, businesses and climate leaders.”
Once a professional bodybuilder, the True Lies star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, first met Heather Milligan in 2012, following a shoulder surgery during the pre-production of the action film Escape Plan. Interestingly, while he was referred to visit Milligan by his co-star Sylvester Stallone for his physical therapy, Arnold eventually found out that she was a prominent physiotherapist.
As per Today, the Los Angeles-based physiotherapist, Heather Milligan, is the founder of Elite OrthSport, a clinic that is popular among athletes, mainly footballers, basketball players, and boxers. She has a specialization in orthopedic and sports physical therapy.
Being a competitive gymnast herself for two decades, Milligan, who attended the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, has a degree in physical therapy. During an interview with People, while talking about her partner, Heather, Arnold said:
“We have so many things in common. I think the world of her. I love that she’s into working. She’s clearly independent. She just is driven as hell.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger also recalled the time he first visited Milligan for his physical therapy, and said:
“So I went to her, and then after my therapy was finished, after I was finished with the movie, I called her back and took her out for lunch to say thank you. And then one thing led to the next.”

As cited by Today, during his conversation with People, Arnold praised Heather’s loving and caring nature towards her friends and family members. He also mentioned how she visits her grandmother, who lives in Nebraska. Arnold said:
“Every night, she’s with her grandmother on the phone for at least a half an hour. I mean, that’s when you get to know a person, the heart they have.”
