A FORMER Hollyoaks actor has been jailed for raping two women including one who was asleep at the time.
Rizwan Khan punched one of the victims and told her: “I need what I need. I want what I want. You, as a woman, should abide by what a man wants.”
The 40-year-old, who appeared in a number of Hollyoaks episodes as Doctor Peak in 2019, has now been jailed for 11 years and nine months.
Khan, who also appeared in ITV hit Vera, was previously convicted of raping two women and sexually assaulting one of them.
He was also found guilty of causing unnecessary suffering to a child.
Sentencing, Judge Paul Reid said: “Your pre-sentence report says you demonstrate entitlement and hostility towards females.”

Teesside Crown Court heard one of the victims woke up to find Khan attacking her.
The other woman was punched and slapped when she repeatedly refused to have sex with him.
In victim impact statements, one said she has anxiety and nightmares, adding: “What he did goes round and round in my head.”
Khan’s lawyer Andrew Stranex told the court the actor continues to deny the offences.
He added: “He is concerned about his parents and their healthcare.
“Any account saying there’s social care available, doesn’t take into account the level of his care for them.”
As well as a jail term, Khan will sign the sex offenders’ register for the rest of his life.
He was also made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order and restraining orders against the victims.
Khan had a role as a parent in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie in 2021 and this year appeared in This England.
He was also in two episodes of ITV detective show Vera and an episode of Holby City.
