All about Jen Hamilton’s husband amid the emergence of her crying video on social media

Jen Hamilton’s recent video where she discusses emotional distress in her marriage with Brian has gone viral with people speculating a divorce.

Just like Jen, her husband, Brian, is also a nurse with a background in paediatric care. As a child, when Brian was around age 2 in 1989, he got critically ill and was treated at the Brenner Children’s Hospital for severe conditions, including toxic shock syndrome, bilateral pneumonia, bilateral pleural effusion, infections and high fever.

In the video, a teary-eyed Jen Hamilton expresses her desire for her future healed version, reassuring her that everything will be fine soon, after she mentioned heartbreak in the caption, noting that despite Brian breaking her heart, she will continue to love him “with all the pieces.” She says in the clip:

“I just want the healed version of myself to come and tell me that it’s going to be okay. I need me. I need me in like a year, and me in five years to tell me that I’m not gonna feel like this forever.”

One of her fans took to her TikTok video and wrote:

“Judging from your caption divorce is hard babe especially when you still love that person but you WILL get through this and be the happiest version of yourself I promise.”

Jen’s response hinted at infidelity and divorce as she replied:

“I’ve just never been enough for him.”

In March 2025, Jen Hamilton shared a sweet anniversary tribute marking 13 years of their marriage. She mentioned in the caption about marital challenges in the past, stating that though it was not always a fun ride for the couple, they still managed to mend their family and stick together.

It featured pictures from their wedding day with Jen getting her makeup done by her friend, Hannah and some awkward moments. According to Jen’s post, their marriage was officiated by Brian’s grandfather, Burl. Jen was five months pregnant with their first child during their marriage.

Around March 2022, Jen posted several TikTok videos discussing separation experiences, offering marriage advice from a “reconciled couple” and sharing personal insights on coping with family separation.

Jen and her husband met at a summer camp in 2011 when they were both working as counsellors. They ultimately got married the next year and many from the camp attended their wedding.

Their first child, Ellis, was born in late December 2012. They welcomed their second son, Luke, in 2016. Luke was initially named Aspen, thinking that “he would be an outdoorsy boy like his dad and brother.” However, shortly after his birth, they realised that he prefers staying indoors and air conditioning and calm activities over outdoor adventures. They began calling him Luke when he was 18 months old.
