Patrick Mahomes and his family shared a behind-the-scenes moment at Arrowhead Stadium, where his young son had a brief and unexpected recognition moment involving none other than megastar Taylor Swift.
A new video released by the Kansas City Chiefs shows Patrick Mahomes and his family during a visit tied to the quarterback’s contract signing with the organization. The footage includes his wife, Brittany Mahomes, and their children as they walk through stadium hallways.
During the visit, their 3-year-old son, Bronze, noticed a framed image of the Elizabeth Taylor singer, performing at Arrowhead during her Eras Tour.
Upon seeing the photo, the toddler pointed and identified her, saying her name gleefully before continuing down the hallway.
“It’s Taylor!”
This scene seemed to stand out from the rest, which was dedicated to the festivities surrounding Patrick Mahomes’ ongoing dedication to the Chiefs. Clips featured the quarterback marking the event alongside his wife and kids at the stadium.
Moreover, the quarterback shared some thoughts on how much Kansas City means to him and how he wants his kids to grow up in the same city where he made his career.
In the video, he reflected on the support the team and city have provided throughout his time with the organization.
“It means the world to me just because the city that Kansas City is and the people that it has, we’ve done a lot of great things here. But I think more than that, it’s just the community that we built. To have my kids grow up here and around such great people. I’m glad I can extend [my contract] and hopefully finish my career here.”

Bronze is no stranger to Taylor Swift, as his father plays alongside the pop star’s fiancé, Travis Kelce. The toddler’s parents have also gone out on double dates with Swift and Kelce in the past.
In a press conference in February 2025, Patrick Mahomes brought up his family’s close friendship with the other couple.
“Taylor being at all the games has been awesome. I just know Taylor better now and I feel like I’ve built a great friendship with her. And my wife and Taylor have built a friendship as well.”
At the time, he also spoke about Taylor Swift’s attendance at Chiefs games and its impact on younger audiences.
“It’s been awesome to showcase her bringing light to the sport that I love and getting little girls like my daughter into it and watching the game. So it’s just cool to see how football can bring people together from every aspect of life.”
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift, who’s engaged to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, recently watched the NBA Finals Game 4 to support the New York Knicks. The singer was at the Celebrity Row alongside friends Haim sisters and Mariska Hargitay and other A-listers.
