rench actress and pop star Elsa Esnoult is reprising her B&B character of Fanny, who, in the past, has interacted with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope (Annika Noelle).

“I was very honored and thankful [to be invited] to the show,” Esnoult enthuses. She was introduced to the Forresters, Brooke Logan, and the Spencers when she was merely 10 years old, having been introduced to the international hit series by her now late grandmother, her father’s mother, Gigi.

Esnoult shared that when she saw the photos of stars from B&B and other shows on the studio walls, she grew emotional, thinking of her beloved, Gigi.

“I was crying because it was so emotional,” she says, “especially now that I don’t have [my grandmother]. I had the impression she was like an angel, and she was telling me, now you have a chance to be in my favorite series.”

How did Esnoult’s first joining the show come about? “They were looking for a famous person in France. I don’t think it mattered whether the person could sing or not,” the performer suggests.

Making Bold and the Beautiful music

In April, Esnoult posted a photo of herself, her son, Eden, and B&B stars, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) and Thorsten Kaye (Ridge), taken on the set of Eric’s (John McCook) office.

“Obviously, it was [clear] for me to capture this moment .. the meeting between my son Eden and my two friends and playmates of Love, Glory, and Beauty Thorsten and Katherine,” Esnoult posted. “This encounter was so sweet and touching, filled with tenderness and many smiles from Eden… 🩵.”

B&B has had many famous crooners on the show over the years, including Dionne Warwick (ex-Dionne) and Bobbie Eakes (ex-Macy), but Esnoult will not be singing this time. “Maybe in the future?” she hopes.

Esnoult says that she loves American forms of music, including soul and pop. “In general, I bring 50% of the songs,” says the singer/songwriter. “Now, I’m trying to write songs in both English and in French.”

Esnoult is currently working on an album and also a vertical series. “My producer is working on a new one, her eighth, titled, appropriately, “8.”‘

Ensoult’s appearance on B&B is a bit of a crossover as she’s playing the same character, Franny, that she plays in the French series, Love in Paris

In the past, Fanny has come to Los Angeles to try to create a partnership between her perfumes and Forrester Creations.

“I don’t know at the moment,” Ensoult says about future appearances; however, she’s hoping that they come along. In fact, Soap Central hears that there’s more to come!

“I am really thankful to everyone who is making this happen,” she says.
