Kim Mu-yeol’s Na Hwa-jin brings forth yet another significant presence, but this time in an elementary school. After the case of a teacher getting harassed by her student’s parents comes to them, Han-rim and Hwa-jin take on the case and dive right in. Hwa-jin becomes the replacement of Ji-seon, as she gets her treatment after the trauma that she went through.

Just as in the other episodes of Teach You a Lesson, Hwa-jin brings forth his distinct approach to solve the matter regarding the student’s parents, who were harassing Ji-seon. Hwa-jin takes on the tactic that the student’s mother took on and keeps messaging her to give her.

He also confronts the student’s father. It cannot be denied that Kim Mu-yeol’s performance as Na Hwa-jin in this series is impactful and resonates deeply with the viewers. Besides Kim Mu-yeol’s Na Hwa-jin, Teach You a Lesson also depicts Im Han-rim’s significance in the storyline. At the beginning of this episode, Han-rim is the first person to stop Ji-seon from ending her life. Han-rim arrives right in time to save Ji-seon and urges her to seek help.

Han-rim’s presence in this episode adds a layer of humour and depth to the storyline. Jin Ki-joo is known to bring life to complex characters. Just as her other projects, Jin Ki-joon completely embodies her role as Im Han-rim and delivers an impeccable performance.

Just as in the other episodes of the series, Lee Sung-min does a remarkable job in depicting the emotional struggles and distinct goals of Gang-seok’s life.

In this episode, Gang-seok understands the struggles that teachers go through and their inability to find any help, as there are hardly any people who listen to their difficulties.

The storyline of this episode revolves around the struggles that Song Si-an’s Choi Ji-seon goes through because of her student’s parents. It is revealed that after helping a student, U-jin, in the school, which U-jin’s mother asked her to do, things took a turn for her as U-jin’s mother, Le Ji-yeong, began to harass her continuously.

Ji-seon tried to seek help, but nobody supported her. U-jin’s mother further complicated things by falsely accusing Ji-seon of sexually harassing U-jin.

Ji-seon faced immense scrutiny because of Ji-yeong’s accusations and actions, eventually leading her to take the decision to end her life before Han-rim stopped her. Song Si-an’s other notable projects are My Troublesome Star, Buried Hearts, Revenant, etc.


5) Park Ji Yun as Lee Ji-yeong

Park Ji Yun depicts a remarkable acting prowess in bringing life to Lee Ji-yeong’s character in the series. Lee Ji-yeong is U-jin’s mother and soon targets Ji-seon, U-jin’s teacher.

She constantly contacted Ji-seon outside work hours and even kept an eye on Ji-seon’s personal life. She eventually falsely accused Ji-seon, which completely shattered Ji-seon’s life, becoming the driving factor of this episode.
