The regular season finale features 16 elite teams competing for glory and final spots at the Manama championship
The stage is set for Bucharest showdown
The FIBA 3×3 World Tour regular season reaches its thrilling conclusion in Bucharest on November 8-9, bringing together 16 of the world’s elite basketball teams for one final battle before the Manama championship. With qualification spots still up for grabs and reputations on the line, the Romanian capital promises to deliver high-stakes action at the 16th and final stop of this year’s tour.
Fans worldwide can catch all the action live on the FIBA 3×3 YouTube channel as teams fight for glory and positioning heading into the season-ending finale. The tournament features 14 of the top 22 ranked teams in the world, ensuring the competition level remains at its absolute peak.
Elite field descends on Romania
The competing teams read like a who’s who of 3×3 basketball excellence. The roster includes Ub, Miami, Amsterdam Rabobank, Liman, Toulouse, Raudondvaris Hoptrans, Chongming, Vienna, Skyliners, Rifa, Carolina, Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy, Barcelona, Lausanne, Podebrady and host squad Bucharest Stiinta.
Defending champions eye back-to-back glory
- Skyliners made history as the first German team to capture a World Tour title, and they enter Bucharest riding that momentum. Young sensation Leon Fertig has elevated his game under the tutelage of legendary Stefan Kojic, giving the Germans a dangerous combination of youth and experience. However, repeating their success against such a loaded field presents a monumental challenge.
- Ub enters as the tournament’s top seed after dominating much of the season, though recent struggles have shown vulnerability. The Serbian powerhouse has suffered three consecutive semifinal defeats, raising questions about their ability to close out tournaments as the pressure intensifies.
- Miami holds the second seed and has demonstrated remarkable consistency in reaching semifinals, winning their last four. The Americans have fallen short in three of their last four finals, however, creating motivation to finally break through. Henry Caruso leads the charge as arguably the second-best player on the planet, firmly establishing himself as Team USA’s top talent.
- Liman and Raudondvaris Hoptrans have both captured World Tour titles this season and continue proving their championship pedigree. Andreja Milutinovic carries on Liman’s tradition of producing talismanic leaders, while Aurelijus Pukelis and Evaldas Dziaugys bring infectious energy for the Lithuanian squad.
- Amsterdam Rabobank arrives desperate to shed their title curse at the regular season’s final opportunity. If Worthy de Jong and company can break through, they’ll enter the World Tour Final defense as the Dutch Masters with momentum on their side.
Star power on full display
Strahinja Stojacic remains the sport’s greatest player, and the Ub star enters Bucharest extra motivated after his team’s recent title drought. The man known as Doctor Strange sits tantalizingly close to another season championship, needing one final push to secure the crown.
Franck Seguela held the number one ranking earlier this season before injuries derailed his campaign. The Frenchman possesses game-changing ability when healthy and could end the regular season on a high note with a vintage performance.
Vienna boasts two former World Tour MVPs in Quincy Diggs and Nico Kaltenbrunner, giving them perhaps the most accomplished duo in the field. Their experience in pressure situations could prove decisive as teams battle for Manama qualification.
Riffa’s Dennis Donkor engineered a remarkable turnaround after early season struggles nearly ended their championship hopes. The inspirational leader has his team fighting for a Manama Final spot that seemed impossible just weeks ago.
Guim Exposito’s heroics at the World Cup made him a household name in 2025, and now he’s ready to translate that success to the World Tour stage. Meanwhile, sharpshooters Nauris Miezis, Anand Ariunbold and Antonio Ralat all possess the ability to catch fire and single-handedly change games if their shots start falling.
The Bucharest finale promises drama, highlight-reel plays and championship-level intensity as the 3×3 basketball season reaches its crescendo.
