Episode 12 (finale) of Perfect Crown begins, and Grand Prince I-an finally takes the throne of the king. However, he no longer plans to keep the title and tells Hui-ju that once he becomes the emperor, he will propose the idea to end the monarchy.
It will not just free him from the system he barely liked, but will also do justice to the public, as most of the people tied to the crown misused their power for status and recognition. But Jeong-woo, being the prime minister, did not agree.
He convinced the entire cabinet to oppose the king’s idea and even planned to talk to the royals and the queen mother (Yi-rang). The last episode continues, and Yi-rang visits her father in prison.
Inpyeong looked down at Yi-rang for putting her own father behind bars, but Yi-rang made it clear that he deserved this. And just when she’s about to leave, Ilpyeong gives another shocker about Jeong-woo. He revealed that the prime minister was involved in the explosion to kill I-an.

But thanks to Hui-ju, who tells I-an to use his wealthy in-laws and makes a huge donation that would solve all of their financial issues. Jeong-woo’s plan included accusing Castle Group of having a slush fund, but Hui-ju and her brother turned the narrative into misusing the power.
