In-ah and Ki-jun’s love story continues in Filing for Love K-drama but it’s also marked by a lot of challenges. It began with I-an being an extremely capable and detail-oriented executive who leads the audit department at Haemu Group and who transfers Ki-jun to a lower-level team.
Just like In-ah, Ki-jun also excels in his work. However, one mistake resulted in his demotion, forcing him to work on smaller cases. The story takes a new turn when Ki-jun gets a tip from someone, claiming that In-ah is an unacceptable relative.
When Ki-ju starts investigating, he realizes that In-ah isn’t involved in such a thing. And that’s when they start to get along well and eventually fall for each other. The story will continue in episodes 7-8 of Filing for Love, releasing on May 16 and May 17, 2026 on tvN, TVING and Rakuten Viki.
In the story so far, In-ah asks Ki-jun to investigate the contracts related to PK, while there’s also tension between the two. She knows that Ki-jun has been living with his own girlfriend, which only makes things awkward between the three.
Filing for Love episodes 7-8: Release date, time and where to watch
Filing for Love episode 7 will be released on May 16 followed by episode 8 on May 17, 2026. The live broadcast for tvN is scheduled for 9:10 pm KST and the same episodes can be streamed on TVING locally.
For those outside South Korea, the K-drama is available on Rakuten Viki. The platform is best known for all kinds of Asian TV series. It offers a limited number of episodes for free, but after that ends, a Viki Pass is required. Users can take either a monthly plan or a yearly plan.
Each episode of Filing for Love runs for at least an hour, and are available with subtitles in English. Apart from Viki, fans can also search for the K-drama on Wavve and HBO Max.
What to expect from Filing for Love episodes 7-8?
Episodes 7 and 8 of Filing for Love will focus more on Joo In-ah’s past and her growing connection with Noh Ki-jun. Ki-jun becomes more supportive and protective of In-ah as he learns about her emotional struggles and past trauma.
As for what happened in the previous episode, it follows the investigation surrounding top model PK after photos of him with a mystery woman create a scandal. Since PK works with Haemu through sponsorship deals, the company starts reviewing whether they should continue working with him.
Ki-jun finds it suspicious that the company is still protecting PK despite the controversy, so he and I-na investigate further.Their investigation first points toward Ji-won from the marketing team after they discover links between her and PK.
However, they later realize Ji-won is only pretending to be involved with him. The truth is that PK is secretly having an affair with Hyun-young, Jae-yeol’s wife and a member of the powerful Sesan family. Ji-won takes the blame to protect her husband’s career.
At the same time, In-ah takes drunk Ki-jun home and discovers that he lives with his ex-girlfriend, A-jeong. Later, Ki-jun learns that In-ah was the one who helped him that night. He starts understanding her personal struggles and their bonds grow. However, there are a lot of issues that they must solve.
