Prior to all of that, an unconscious Coco was approached by the masked Brimmed Cap witch, who told her that she was their hope. Finally, Qifrey instructed the store owner not to speak to the Knights Moralis, which left many wondering what he knew and what he was concealing.
In a good way, episode 6 slowed things down. Coco was able to connect with magic in a way that textbooks could never do when Qifrey began teaching her how to wield it via routine activities like cooking. Then Olruggio showed up. As a Watchful Eye, it is his responsibility to keep an eye on ateliers and report any questionable activity. He attempted to turn Coco over to the Knights Moralis as soon as he realized she was an outsider. Qifrey stopped him. In the end, Coco was the one who softened Olruggio.
