The Boys is a show that takes human life for granted, and each week, it seems, they find different ways to make fans freak out. The Boys Season 5 Episode 7 is set to arrive on May 13, 2026, on Prime Video, which is the last one before the grand finale, so things are getting a lot more anxious now.
With a title as chilling as “The Frenchman, the Female, and the Man Called Mother’s Milk,” fans have gone into full theory mode digging into the comics on how some major characters may not survive the hour.
At the moment, it seems that two deaths are inevitable: Frenchie and President Calhoun. However, in The Boys Season 5 as a whole, no one is safe when the drama of the finale kicks in. Homelander is deadlier than ever, and the denouement could turn into a bloodshed.
Here are the two characters that appear to be almost doomed, and three more who could be next in line.
Frenchie feels terrifyingly doomed in The Boys Season 5 Episode 7
Frenchie has the most “this character is about to die” vibe amongst those who remain. When The Boys Season 5 Episode 7’s title card hiked up the spotlight on Frenchie, Kimiko and Mother’s Milk, a reference to their names in the comics, fans began to fret and fear.
The most alarming thing is how much emotional closure Frenchie has been receiving recently. He is finally settling into his new normal with Kimiko and has been thinking more in terms of guilt, redemption, and peace: hallmarks of a TV death. He has also has been speculated several times as being sacrificed in an attempt to end Homelander’s mission.
After all, he’s a character that perfectly fits the tragic-romantic trope. Frenchie has been the heart of all the craziness and fighting. If fans believe that there will be a bloodbath in The Boys Season 5 Episode 7, then his demise is easily the event that would emotionally wreck both the audience and Kimiko before the end of the series.
President Calhoun looks like a political corpse walking
President Calhoun seems to be the only obstacle remaining between Homelander and complete political dominance in The Boys Season 5 Episode 7. Earlier, the show took America closer towards totalitarian collapse, and establishing America’s president dead would simply be a sign that nothing would be able to stop Homelander now.
It also works great with the theme of The Boys, which is – rules don’t apply once a powerful enough person decides that’s not the case. Homelander has already violated every moral boundary imaginable in the past, and killing an incumbent president is the next step up the immoral ladder.
Most importantly, it would add a whole new layer of excitement to the finale. Frenchie’s death would be an emotional blow, but Calhoun’s would hit symbolically and make people think that Homelander might actually defeat everyone.
Kimiko, Mother’s Milk, and The Deep could easily be next
Although Frenchie and Calhoun appear to be the most obvious casualties, three other characters are in a dire situation. The addition of Kimiko in The Boys Season 5 Episode 7 is particularly worrying for fans, who are concerned that the series is heading towards heartbreak.
In the meantime, Mother’s Milk is left to feel increasingly vulnerable as the worn down moral backbone of the team, particularly given his lingering anger towards Soldier Boy, which still hangs over the tale.
Next in line is The Deep. Five seasons of living on the wrong side of the street have come and gone and maybe The Boys Season 5 finale is finally meting out the justice fans rightfully deserve for the incompetence. So, at this stage, it’s safe to say that Episode 7 and the end are likely to be painful.
