Days of our Lives’ Alex delivers big news
Now that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) knows that he is definitely the father of Joy’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) little girl, he has to talk to his dad about it. Justin is shocked and pleased to learn that he is a grandfather again. His other granddaughter is college-age Arianna (Vico Escorcia), who was raised by Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Justin’s (Wally Kurth) other son, Sonny (Zach Tinker).
While Justin and Alex bond over fatherhood, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) opens up to Jada (Elia Cantu) about how she has been feeling. After everything that has happened with Jeremy (Michael Roark) and Owen (Wes Ramsey), Stephanie thought she could finally get her life on an even keel, but now she has to deal with her husband sharing a baby with another woman.
Stephanie and Joy also run into one another at the Brady Pub, where Stephanie meets her stepdaughter for the first time. Will seeing Alex’s baby make Stephanie decide that she wants to have children after all?
Johnny and Chanel face things head on
Joy has a busy day when she also runs into Chanel and Trey. The two young moms admire each other’s infants, but don’t lose sight of the fact that Joy also nearly ruined Chanel’s marriage last year. Joy sure does get around.
After her run-in with Joy, Chanel makes it to the hospital to visit Johnny, but discovers Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) there to talk about Sophia (Rachel Boyd). After she leaves, Johnny and Chanel discuss what they are going to have to soon deal with. Chanel needs to still undergo a biopsy, but they realize that her lump is most likely cancerous, which means they are going to have to make some decisions.
Chanel’s treatment options will be limited because she is pregnant, but that doesn’t mean the cancer is death sentence. This young couple has a long road ahead of them in what can become a very compelling breast cancer story.
